First, I would like to thank all those who invested their time and effort to help organize the reunion this year. I know that John (Bad05), Larry (talltigeguy), Dan (Dan & Christy), and others all contributed to making a fun time for those that could attend.
Also, thanks to the sponsors that contributed goods and services to be raffled off: Tige, Grant at Boats of Nevada, Wet Sounds, Haney's Auto Marine Care (SPBFan), Mike's Liquid Audio (chpthril), and SpeakerSox. If I have forgotten any, hopefully someone else will mention them. Thanks for all the swag and prizes!
It was great to meet new attendees, catch up with ones I've met before, and hang out with a great group of nice and interesting folks. This was the third year I made it, and it has been exciting and enjoyable every year. Unfortunately, a number of TO's that planned to come were unable to attend. Hopefully next year.
I'll post some poor quality pictures from my el cheapo camera. But I'm sure that better pics will be posted by better photographers than me.
Friday afternoon greeted us with beautiful weather. Six boats setup camp on a wonderful sandy cove, and then everyone headed out on the water to take advantage of the gorgeous water conditions. Absolutely perfect evening, with a glass-covered lake, few other boats, and then a full moon to give plenty of light after sundown. Campfires provided a place to chat with everyone, cook dinner, and listen to tunes pumping from boats. Well, one of the fires, anyway - for some reason, no one wanted to hang out around the fire that my 7-year old sons kept fueled wtih dry cow patties that were abundant near the camp.
My boat, just past sunset

the poop fire

Unfortunately, we did have some "neighbors" that decided to camp right by us, get obnoxiously drunk, and start to threaten LovinPowell when he asked them to quiet it down a bit after midnight. Other than that issue, it was a great night.
morning light

Things really got underway around noon on Saturday, as everyone else arrived. Boats of Nevada sent out lunch for the crowd, and prizes were raffled away.

Finally, a huge thanks again to Tige and Boats of Nevada, as they put up the Pimp My Tige prize which we were fortunate enough to win
Can't wait for next year.
