If you are having trouble posting images on the forums, galleries or uploading your profile picture the methods below should show you the dos and don’ts of posting images. First off you must have an image/graphic editor.
For a free Image Resize tool, download the Power Toys Image Resizer from Microsoft. http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...ertoySetup.exe
Common image/graphic editors are; Adobe Photoshop, Corel Photo-Paint Microsoft Paint, Jasc Paint Shop Pro
Since Microsoft Paint is found on all Windows Operating systems I have demonstrated how to resize and save an image as a .jpeg.
Steps to resize picture with Microsoft Paint:
Open Microsoft Paint( Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Paint)
Open picture(File -> Open -> (locate your picture file) then click Ok after you select)
Resizing picture by using (Image -> Stretch/Skew -> Change horizontal or vertical according to your need)
Select File >Saves As> Select “.jpeg” and click Save.
How to Post an Image in the Galleries section

1. If you’re not already logged in go to the login form. You can find the log in either on the home page, galleries or the forums.
2. Once logged in on the Galleries section go to Upload Photos.
3. The requirements for posting pictures follows:
Allowable File Types: .jpg,.jpeg,.png,.gif,.jpe
Dimensions (Width & Height) : Maximum allowable size is 700 pixels wide by 600 pixels high.
Total File Size in Kilobytes: Maximum allowable size is 80 kb
4. Choose which category you want your image displayed in. Ex. Members Galleries, Wakeboarding, etc.
5. Browse for your image and select “Open” or “Submit”
6. Enter a title or Description of the image.
7. Select “Upload/Submit”
8. You should then be taken to another screen that states, “Add Photos - Select Photos / Configure Properties”. If everything is complete and correct select “Process Files”
9. If the image was successfully loaded you should get the message” No more images found.”
10. Your image is now uploaded to the Galleries section
How to post an image in your profile (aka Avatars)
1. If you’re not already logged in go to the login form. You can find the log in either on the home page, galleries or the forums.
2. Once logged in got to the Discussion or Forums section of Tigeowners.com.
3. Select “User CP” (aka User Control Panel) and go to “Edit Options,”
4. Scroll down to “Avatars” and select “Change Avatars”
5. You now have the option to use the default forum avatars or upload an avatar from your computer
6. The requirements for uploading custom Avatars are:
Allowable File Types: .jpg,.jpeg,.png,.gif,.jpe
Dimensions (Width & Height) : Maximum allowable size is 65 pixels wide by 65 pixels high.
Total File Size in Kilobytes: Maximum allowable size is 4 kb
7. Once you Avatar is selected click on “Submit Modifications”
8. Your profile should now be updated.

Allowable File Types: .gif, .jpg, .png, .zip, .bmp, .jpeg
Dimensions (Width & Height): Maximum allowable size is 1000 pixels wide by 900 pixels high.
Maximum File Size in Kilobytes: Maximum allowable size is 187 kb
1. If you’re not already logged in go to the login form. You can find the log in either on the home page, galleries or the forums.
2. Once logged in got to the Discussion or Forums section of Tigeowners.com.
3. Select a Category and then select a topic or create a new one.
4. Begin typing your subject and message and then click “Browse” to attach your file. Browse for your file and select “Open”.
5. Lastly click “Submit” or “Submit New Thread”
6. Your image should now be posted.
How to post multiple images in the Forums
You can also post multiple pictures in one thread using the “IMG” tag. The IMG tag allows you to insert your image(s) via another website or within the galleries section by copying the “URL” of the image. Ex. The full URL of the Tigeowners.com logo is http://www.tigeowners.com/images/global/logo.png
* The steps below are documented using Internet Explorer 6.
1. Begin by viewing the image or images that you want to copy.
2. Right Click on the image(s) you want to post in your thread. Then select Properties from the drop down menu. Copy the Address: (URL) of the image by left clicking and selecting text with your mouse, then right click select copy) the Address (URL) of the image.
3. Create a new thread or reply to an existing thread.
4. Select the IMG tag. You should now be prompted to enter the URL of the image. Double Click in the URL field and then right click and select Paste. Finally select Ok
5. Your image should now be surrounded by the IMG tag and
6. Repeat for each image you want to post.
