Has any one used 30 weight synthetic non detergent in their V-Drive? I used it last year and it quieted up the V-Drive significantly. I've searched and can't find anyone who has used this oil.

I found synthetic 30wt through Dumonde Tech. Checked with Walter and they said it would be fine. Sure is alot quieter with synthetic.Comment

Use 30W
Yes - I was told you can use 30W non-detergent instead of ATF. When we did the first change-out on my Z1's V-Drive the dealer called the factory and they said the 30W is quieter - and I agree.
Not sure if you would use synthetic though...I would stick with standard stuff...Comment

Been using synthetic for over 10 years. My 14 year old Tige has had nothing but synthetic fluids its entire life and has been absolutely trouble free!
