    1998 2200i Swim Platform

    Hey guys,

First post, so sorry if its in the wrong section. Got a good deal on a 1998 2200i wt, but it is missing the swim platform supports. Called a dealer they said they no longer make them. Any one got any good ideas for getting some?

Thanks guys! I will give them a call see how much/quick they will be. I already have a friend that will weld me some brackets together if I need them too.

If anyone has an older Tige I would love some (closer) pics of the swim platform supports. Been hunting for hours on online. Debating on how thick I should make the bracket that mounts to the hull.

And I only have the one pic right now, I'll have to put up the tower and take some more.Tige-no tower.jpg

Picture looks great. Love the clean white large side panel. Is that a purple stripe in it?
Where are you located? Those Extreme Trailers were a west coast thing? It looks like it's missing the carpeted pads on the side post.
We have the same boat except yours is one year newer.
I have some pics of my brackets on a different thread, but don't have time to find it this morning. Maybe tomorrow?

Thanks man. Yeah I've got the purple stipe. I just looked yours up, the blue looks good, and I'm jealous of that tower.
I'm in NC, guy that had the boat moved from AZ, haven't even changed the registration number. So I have limited knowledge on the trailer. I do have slip on pads for the side post, they are laying in the boat.
Tmr is fine with me. prob not buying anything until Sunday/Monday anyway.

I found what I was looking for. Not sure if it helps you out?

That pole should have a carpeted bumper pad on the sides. There should be two holes on it for the screws. But I guess it works with pad covers.

thanks for the pics. They were exactly what I was looking for. My plan is to fab up a bracket that will work with the existing hardware. Since its all in good condition I would hate to drill new holes. Ruger your brackets look a lot more beefy than the stock ones. Also, really like the suck/surf gate. Is that your latest design? Definitely adding that to my long list of projects. As well as your fat sac pump, what kind of pump did you go with?

I think the difference between the two is Ruger's are removable with the quick release setup. Mine are not.

Correct TA mine has the quick detach swim platform brackets. They had both styles of brackets those years.

That is an older suck gate. The plastic handle didn't work well. The new suck gate I have been using has an aluminum handle. I recently made the plate a touch larger. I used a manual Straigtline pump for years, recently added plumbed in ballast with a Jabsco Ballast Puppy.
