    2001 21V Wood?

I have searched and looks like tige used wood stringers and floors until 2002. Would you guys have a problem buying a 2000 tige 21V knowing it has wood? Im not really sure but would i need to keep the interior water free since its wood? If i hosed down the carpet to clean will that be a problem? Boat has been babied since day one always stored inside or covered it really is cleaner and in better shape then all the 2006-2007 boats i have been looking at. Has around 300hours. Any idea what the average sale price of this would be?

There are plenty of us on here who own those boats. Haven't heard of others with issues especially if its had stored indoors/covered like you are saying. Originally they came with a lifetime hull warranty to the original owner. I don't intentionally add water to my interior by spraying it down but it does get wet from use. Give some more info on options for pricing. Tower (brand)? Stereo? Engine? Trailer?

Has the original tower that i think people had issues with not sure the name? 350 mag, no cracks or chips in hull or around tower at all, tandem trailer rarely used and looks like its brand new without a mark on it, factory stereo amp and sub, taps 2 ballast bags not plumbed in no cruise or heater/shower.

So just to confirm the entire floor will be wood for sure not just the stringers on this?

The Metcraft tower is the bad one. The bow and walkway is all glass so the main seating area is the question. I have never pulled my carpet... so I don't know what is under there. Perfect pass installed by you runs about $1500. Tower replacement could be about the same all the way up. So if it were me and I could do those two items and be about $20k-$22k I'd be happy. Sounds like you found a good one.

Why would the tower need replaced? This one from the high def pics and video has no signs of any cracking or movement. Perfect pass I would probably like to add yes.

She is clean! That is the Metcraft tower. Do a search on that tower. Seems they are known to break. Not sure if is HAS to be replaced.

This tower has been a known issue since I started hanging out here in 06. Dont wait for it to crack while in use, plan to replace.

Would it not be from people pulling tubes lots? I wont pull a tube ever from it use the rear pylon and will only wake board a few times a year. We will be surfing i hope the most and thats new to us so im not even sure what the process is exactly.

It will eventually crack, it is just a matter of time. It is a theoretical concern that it could break completely and be a safety hazard, but it seems that most failures haven't physically hurt anyone that I remember. That tower will wobble like a drunk prom date, even before it is broken. Many cracks occur under the pads, so remove those for a full inspection if you don't want to replace it right away.

I am not worried about wood stringers, on that boat the wood stringers are encased in fiberglass.

I think under 20 would be a pretty good deal. NADA gets to be pretty inaccurate on older boats because there are boats of this age that have been sitting in someone's backyard with weeds all over the trailer. I think that is not the original vinyl, as would be expected for a boat that old, but shows the owner took some care to keep it in good working condition.
    Be excellent to one another.

ok ya that makes sense. so is the main floor wood or fibreglass does anyone know for sure? I know the stringers are for sure wood
    Oh and vinyl is original

That was exactly like my first boat but mine had a black tower. I used that tower HARD. Pulled two tubes with it every time we went out. It rattled but it held together just fine. A lot of people around here will tell you upgrading is the name of the boat owners game. I haven’t drunk that cool aide. I totally agree you should fix or replace the tower..........once it brakes.

Seems like a pretty well cared for boat. Other issues with those years was the helm
Look close at plastic and make sure there are no cracks at all the screws that mount it. Also look at gauges. Bezels would crack and gauge falls out. Find out last time it had impeller service, fluid changes etc. Slap a shaper on it and you will be surfing in no time. Compression test is never a bad idea either. Also verify taps is working, not only that it moves but corresponds with gauge. Would guess it's a bennett actuator, if it is check pump fluid and make sure it's not milky.
That Roswell rack is worth about as much as that whole tower...

Ok thanks. Impeller was done spring of 2017 along with new wires and complete fluids including transmission. Compression was 180 all around when it had full winterizing done this year. It really has no red flags at all so far. Even has the original bill of sale and warranty info which I haven’t seen on any boats I’ve been looking at.

Complete floor is wood except for the walk through. The wood was made by Greenwood Products and is XL Panel.
