Thread: 1999 21v swim deck brackets broken

  1. 1999 21v swim deck brackets broken

Hi guys, just bought my first Tige and had issues with the swim deck on the first time out. Two of the 3 brackets on the swim deck are pretty mangled. Any ideas if the best way to fix this? Are there any Tige resources to buying old parts? I spent a while searching on Google and couldn't find anything. Is this something I could take to a welder and have someone fix? I'll post a pic below. Thansk for the insight. IMG_2739.jpg

Wow. That is amazing. I can't remember seeing anything like that happen. A few of the older ones have rusted, but not breaking like that.
I would think you just need to have new ones fabricated to match the old ones. Where are you located, in case someone has a suggestion of a good fabricator in your area.

^^^+1 on those guys. They did the replacement brackets for my 98 2200v and they turned out great for a dang reasonable price.

  5. Thanks!!

  6. Thanks Mike. Great input. I'm in Portland and have reached out to a couple fabricators.
