    Biggest Wakesurf Event EVER!

Wake9.com was founded on an idea that we have kept secret until today. This whole time we have been working on getting this done, an event that can bring all comers, from all over the world. An event that will always have the BEST conditions, and your VERY BEST run, and that everyone can afford to participate in.

OMG, that is a great idea. I am happy to say that you definitely hit the market with this idea.

Reasoning: the wakesurf community is small and the prizes aren't as big as the wakeboarding community. doing this will help out and eventually will help aide the wakesurfing community to become bigger.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I think it is good timing, and a perfect marriage with Wakesurfing. I think it can work in other wakesports as well, but first things first. ;-)

It sounds like a win win for all. Nice job planning and getting it sponsored.

    Thumbs up

That is a fantastic idea. You guys have really worked this through. This is great to see you put surfing together in a competitive event like this. I might even enter some shred 'n' of my own into this. Great job, I hope it turns out to be a big hit and very successful.
I don't want to go to work, take me surfing instead!

I think that would be so cool. Fuel TV is pretty much all I watch. Been really wanting to see some wakesurfing on there!

I think the only thing fuelTV may want at this point would be maybe to discuss it as news, I don't see them broadcasting a bunch of amateur video, unless they only broadcasted the best or something. If they are interested in it as a news item or whatever, would love to talk to them. Have no idea how to gauge their interest.

I think you could easily get a feature on the daily habit or weekly up date. Im sure they would be all over it, at least mentioning it. From there you have a contact, and maybe could get them behind your next events. I think even a minute blurb would be cool to see. And they must be a cool group of guys, I know alot of there hosts seem like down to earth and nice people.

Try getting in contact!! could be a way to get more entries if they mention it early enough!!

The idea is interesting. How are you marketing it to maximize reach?

Funny that you felt the need to point out RJ's riding at the festival sucked, and perhaps it did, however your presentation skills are beyond horrible. I am not kidding. I had to turn it off.

    Good luck with the event!
