Just a reminder to properly attach your trailer hitch!

this poor guy was just pulling his boat over in a turnout to let traffic pass him. the turnout was shorter than he thought. the drop would have with out a doubt been fatal to all onboard.
believe it or not, the tow truck pulled the rig up and he was able to drive it home. from what i heard he was too shaken up to drive so someone else had to do it for him. this was on the hwy. to lake arrowhead.

That is a lot of boat to be pulling with that truck. Trailer brakes on both axles would have probably helped some.

He was certainly lucky and I think I too may have been too shaken up to drive home. I would probably be selling the boat after that incident.
