Hope I can come to It, too far in advance to know yet though. Daniel Watkins is such a sick rider, I would love to see him ride. Good to know though, Now I just have to save the date.

Lee,

Just to make sure we are clear, do you have any pictures to prove your accusations? If not I have no idea of what you are speaking of...

I remember that guy that won the stereo contest, I think he sold his boat and now he sits at the boat ramp looking for a pull. LOL

FYI

If you do plan on attending the Owners Reunion please R.S.V.P. so we can make sure we are covered with food and drinks, also remember to win the new boat you have to be able to provide proof of current ownership of your boat, so bring registation, copy of tittle......

I'm thinking a JBL PX300.4 and speakers to go with and maybe 2 -12"s and a BPX500.1 to match would at least be respectable (I wish I had that kind of cash to drop) - what kind of setup does last years winner have? Need to get an idea of the competition we're up against.... LOL

See you there!

Is this for New Tige owners from West Texas (Odessa) as well? Or is this for owners from the Dallas area? What exactly is the reunion and how do you win a new Tige? Thanks

Taner

Drakester -

Anyone can attend the owners reunion. People come from all over Texas and even Oklahoma. It might be a bit of a drive for you, but It would be worth It.

The reunion is a whole day of events. Everyone gets there, and gets out onto the water. Then everyone ties up to a large yacht and hangs out, meets eachother, and has a good time. Then there is a pro rider (Daniel Watkins this time) and you get to watch him ride. Then there is a whole chance to win free prizes through drawings and contests, as well as a drawing for a new tige, which you get the ticket at the reunion. Then afterwards everyone goes out and rides and cruises around. The whole day is tons of fun.

You should definitely come check it out!

David:

Thanks for the reply. I just took delivery about a month ago of 20V and am still learning about some the perks and events for Tige owners. Sounds like a lot of fun and I will definately make plans to attend. My son is learning to wakeboard and I'm sure he would enjoy the pro rider. Thanks again for your reply and happy boating.

mine is a 24 v red w/white deck tige 05 tower nastywater, pk, travis, any reason you went with the hyperlite and not the tige tower

Drakester
03-31-2005, 02:19 AM
The hyperlite tower was already on it. I bought mine at the boat show and did not order it. I was just happy to be able to get one. I have found that the hyperlite tower is not going to be easy to find a bimini top for without having to pay $800 for. Did you order your?

I'd like to come down for the reunion, but I can't make it friday night. I'd drive in on sat, but could someone give or send me directions? I'd be coming from Norman, OK. I'm sure it's pretty easy, but I've never been down to lakes in TX. Also, does anyone know who won the sound comp last year? My friends told me it was pretty sweet, but I want to enter it this year. I'm sure I won't win, but it will be fun. I know I like my set up, also, how is it judged, loudest in the boat, or at like a certain distanc etc. Thanks everyone for the info.

Dom.

David
04-21-2005, 03:40 AM
Dom,

Sorry, I'm not good at directions, but try Mapquest or something, normally they have pretty good directions...

Last year Matt Garcia won the sound competition...

Erik Ruck and a few guys would go stand on the back of the boat and listen to the stereo, just the overall sound quality, and they took it from there. It was nothing professional, just a few opinions, but Matt's system sounded sick!

Domsz06
04-21-2005, 04:02 AM
So Matt,

what do you have in your boat, you tell me what's in yours, I'll tell you what's in mine:)

Dom

Ha haha..no worries this time. My boat is sold so I wont be rolling up in anything but my pato mobile (unless Jeff lets me borrow another 22V or 24V;) )

I had a pair of Fusion Speakers with a 10inch JL sub and a few amps, nothing crazy but Autosound (local car audio business) installed it and dialed it in real well and those Fusions really sound good when cranked up.

Are you coming down?

Domsz06
04-21-2005, 04:12 AM
i'm gonna plan on it, the only kicker would be if I can't get off work. I work at O'Connell's in Norman, and OU is graduating that sat, so i'm not sure. I normally don't work on sats, just friday night, so would get off work around 3am, go get the boat and take a quick nap then head down sat. I really want to, and I want to enter the sound comp. My friends liked your boat, they were there last year. I love my sound system, it could be fun:) I've got a bit more then you had in yours, but not much. I know at 75 feet it's clear as day, so that's what matters to me:)

Dom

Matt Garcia
04-21-2005, 04:18 AM
Its sounds like your system hits if you can hear it a 75 feet. You shouldn't have any problems, just make sure you have the right CD playing! :D

You should come out and hook up with us. We will probably do some riding, surfing and some frosty beverage drinking.

What boat were your friends in?

If you need directions the best deal would to do MapQuest or Yahoo maps like David said.

Domsz06
04-21-2005, 04:24 AM
they were in i believe a 97 tige. I'm not familiar with the older models. It was green, and a closed hull. So we get to pick the cd:) ok, I'll be sure of that:) Give me a port, or ramp or something to look at and I'll map quest it. I'll probably just be bringing one person with me, maybe two.

Dom

Matt Garcia
04-21-2005, 04:30 AM
I remember exactly what that boat looked like. One of the few closed bow Tiges I have seen in person.

Take a look at Eagle Point Marinas website,
http://www.eaglepointmarina.com/map%20of%20marina.htm

They also have a link for directions.

The reunion is held behind Sneaky Petes. Everyone ties up at the courtesy docks, you should see signs once you are in the area.

Domsz06
04-21-2005, 04:35 AM
Yup, it's a nice boat, the first boat I ever boarded behind. It's what made me want a tige. Now look at me, I have an 03 21ir:) The owner of that boat loves mine, and I have tought him how to use the wake to jump it:) it's great. He is really starting to get some pop out of the wake. Too bad now though my wake scares him, then again, my wake fully loaded with ten people in it and all the ballest scares me too:) I'm gonna do my best to make it down there!!!! He said he had such a blast. I'll have to see if he is coming down too.

Dom

thanks for the link, i'll use it.

I am coming down from OKC Thursday night and will be riding and hanging out all 3 days. Its easy to find, just take the first exit after you go over the lake and you can see it from there. Two years ago the sound competition was measured from the swim deck of each boat with a sound meter. They judged clarity and overall LOUD. I placed next to the top in clarity and middle of the pack in loundess. I have two Alpine amps to 3 pairs of Infinitys and a Kicker 12". I didnt go last year but from what I hear this year will be really big and a lot of fun. Hopefull you can make it, Dom.

I'm hoping for a sunny, wind-less weekend, but Texas weather, and the Lewisville wallies are always unpredictable.

The excitement is killing me! :D School days go such much longer when I have something to look forward to, as I'm sure work days do for most everyone else.

Looking forward to see/meeting/riding with all the other owners and Watkins. Definitely bringing the video camera to capture it all.

See everyone out there.

Also, if I bring my registration and not my boat, can I still be in the drawing? :D

My company makes the guide pole covers and several other products for Tige Boats. We are bringing some "goodies" down to The Slalom Shop this weekend that will be give away prizes at the event. I have several people that have requested that I bring them a pair of the Tige guide pole covers so I will be packing some extras for anyone that may need a pair. We'll do a special price of $30 no tax if anyone is interested. Anyone can call us at 405-413-0043 now or when we are down there. Look forward to meeting everyone!!!!!!!

I am not going to the reunion in Texas as I live in Tennessee. However, I would be very much interested in the guide pole covers for my trailer. What do I need to do to get such covers?

I can be reached at rayt435@comcast.net.

Seeing that there aren't that many Tiges on Hyco Lake, I'll have to load mine up, but thats ok with me. I like not being just one of the malibu crowd.

Lake Norman sounds good to me.

That would be cool with me, Tiges on Lake Gaston are few and far between...besides that I get sick of hearing about malibus all the time.
