Gadzooks, that looks almost like my 22V that I just recently ordered. Same color scheme, different graphics, except for that huge lump in the middle of the floor.;)
My boat is to be delivered this week. Pictures of my boat being constructions can be found here (http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=928), and here (http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=936), and here (http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=945).
I hope you enjoy your boat. And you seem to have good taste in the color scheme.

Well, in my case Mark Gibbs took the pictures. But we had to bribe him with some homemade chocolate cookies at the boat show plus an additional shipment of cookies upon completion of the boat.
I think it would great if Tige took pictures of the assembly of all boats and send them to the people ordering the boats. Or better yet, print the pictures and provided them with the boat papers and documents. It would be an interesting sales gimmick.

Bronco - I got the 21i from NAMG. Stuart hooked me up. Same color as yours. I am sure they will share truck space on delivery. My boat will be in lake of the woods. But I am sure I will run in Lake anna because that is where the warranty work can be done.

Haha i heard about that from bob... He said you wanted to buy that exact boat there, and he refused because it was his personal boat! Pacific blue w/ west coast is a great combo, our 24v looks just like that. It looks a lot better with the blue tower inserts though, the non-colored ones look kinda plain.
Congrats, 22i is a nice all-around boat.

The white supports look good. That is what I got on my boat, white tower with white inserts. The top part of the boat is white so it all fits together. I think with a white top boat the colored inserts in the tower look odd.
But what do I know? To each his own. What looks good to me looks odd to others. It is good that Tige offers choices in colors.

Arghhh..We just talked to our dealer on Friday and he said that the boat wasn't leaving the Factory untill Wed. He said he wasn't sure if it would get here Sat. or Sunday..Anyone know how long it would take from Texas to Va.? They have to do some tests and what not I guess and if it comes sunday he wasn't sure if he could have it ready by sunday afternoon...We need it because my dad leaves for China Monday for 2 weeks and I wanna take it out lol....Im very happy with Tige though...I did not expect the boat to come this fast...but they got my hopes up hahha.

My boat took two+ days from Texas to East Tennessee. There was also at least a one week delay after the boat was completed until they could get the boat on a truck.
My local dealer took several days to prepare the boat. They had to unwrap the boat, check the engine, transmission, and prop alignment. Install the prop, install the tower, install the bimini top, install the batteries, lake test, and then do a final cleaning on the boat. The trailer arrived before the boat and needed the additional brakes added and the backup lights installed. This did not delay the delivery of the boat.
I suspect the dealer could have done all of this in less than three days. But I needed to pick a delivery day when the weather was reasonable and could take time off from work. The dealer went with me to the lake to make sure that I was happy with everything and that it all worked.

Great. Hope it works out and your dealer gets it all done and that Saturday is good weather for you. I could have taken delivery on mine a few days early but the weather was not good enough.

You are:
1. Younger than I am.:(
2. Crazier than I am.
3. More impatient than I am.
4. Tougher than I am.
5. Much more of a water sports enthuasist than I am.;)
Or perhaps all of the above with a dash of just plain crazy thrown in. Enjoy your boat when you get it.

My lake house is at Lake of the Woods. However, they have a strict speed limit of 36 mph. I live in Fairfax so I plan on taking my boat in the potomac for the next two weeks and then putting down at the lake. I am sure I will make it over to lake anna to cruise around several times over the summer. When ever I need work done I will be over there.
You guys sell pontoon boats right? I need a 25' "cocktail cruiser"
bronco991
04-27-2005, 06:17 PM
Yes we sell pontoon boats, We sell Avalon and Playbuoy...the avalon's are very nice. I must say the captains chairs are one of the most comftorble chairs I have ever sat in. Come on out to the marina sometime and look at them...Unfortunately the boat is 24' not 25'...Let me know when you would like to come out...

How many hrs. should I put on my boat before I start boarding behind it?
smendez
04-30-2005, 01:15 PM
Bronco:
I'm under the impression that you can board right away.
The engine in your boat most likely has ben run at the factory and dealer already, and most manufacturers no longer have a formal break in period.
The only claim that I still hear (occassionally), is that you should not drive at a constant speed for extended periods of time during the first few hours. I don't believe that boarding qualifies for this, since your rider will tire out or fall before you can do any harm to the engine.
Have fun with your boat, do the regular maintenance and you'll be ready to upgrade long before it lets you down.
Saulo

Thanks, I wasn't sure...We definately will be doing all the maintnence, seeing as the marina we bought is a certified tige service dealer..so everyone who lives near or is on Lake Anna come to Dukes Creek Marina to get your service done :D
