I was able to locate a replacement rack for my wakesurf board and still use the swivel mechanism of the tower wakeboard rack. This wakesurf rack came with new forks that just happen to line up with the original oval plate threaded holes and required no drilling.

I originally planned on modifing the new oval plate and machine drill/tap new threads into the new plate. As luck would have it; I was able to use the original Tige oval plate.

When disassembling the wakeboard rack forks, be patient because the bolt threads were loctite in and required slowly loosening and tightening to eventually unsrew out. I was worried if I rushed it, I would snap off the ellen head bolt.

You will notice on the new forks, I flipped end over end so the long fork is actually on the top due to the angle of the oval plate mounting to the tower support arm. I think it still looks good even with the longer fork on top and the board is very secure for this 2 inch wakesurf board.

One less board laying on the boat floor!

I never wound up using the tower pipe clamp in the picture because I wanted to be able to swivel the board clear of any boat dock pillars, post or obstructions that could bend/break the board racks.
This is the web site I used for the new rack.

Nick,

Which Krypt rack was that? I have the Blue Lake also and was thinking about doing the same thing. I wonder if the double surf rack would line up as well? That way I can put both the surf board and the knee board up and out of the way. It looks great and now I feel better about trying it.

The wakesurf rack I chose was Krypt Single Surf Rack with Oval Plate. I do not know if a double rack fork holes would line up or not to the block.
I suggest to ask the manufacture web site to measure the distance between the upper and lower threaded holes on the fork to be certain of a fit.

I know I lucked out! I was prepared to modify the new oval plate with new threaded holes to make it fit the swivel mechanism. Good luck.
