I took a drive out to Lake Piru the other day (before this second storm) and the lake was full to the brim!!! Completely stoked....but bummed because of all the floating debris. The lake had a 10mph speed limit because of floating logs. Now with this second rain...im guessing even more logs will flow into the lake increasing the length of the 10mph speed limit. How long do you think this limit will be in force? And how long does it usually take for a lake that size to clear up?
Thanks:cool:

Piramid Lake has the same problem.
Also, floating volcanic rock particles are about the water and adrift too.
It's hell on PWC'rs jets,, so it isn't all bad. Like throwing a handfull of ball bearings thru the pump.
I wish them the worst.
Clearing up the debris comes with time.
I've never seen any effort to physically remove the debris at either lake.
The debris tends to migrate to the shore, then deposit istself on the beach/shoreline, and remains there as the water level lowers as summer progresses..
