Sony Disc Remote near the swim step.

The round, perhap 4" dia disc remote for our Sony has failed again.
This is our 4th or 5th remote.

Should we keep replacing it, or consider a different remote?

Has sony improved it yet?
Is Sony still replacing them for free?

Any suggestions appreciated.

no, sony has turned their back on the remote issue and us as a dealer.
