Went between cases today to pick up some Teak oil (if it is not teak on a 08 please don't tell me) anyway, I walk in that they say that all of the stores are going out of business today and that the liquidation sales starts today. Currently 10-30 % off, but as the weeks progress, she said there will be up to 90% off, including all shelves, displays, counters ect. Went on their website, not for sure if the internet portion is staying afloat. Needless to say, I bought some Flitz, 303 ect, only 10% though.
So go by and buy while you can. Will start birddogging some bigger ticket items like wakeboards later next week.

Heard they were looking to sell, but hadn't heard going out of business. They are a great store, but if you know what you are looking for, you can beat their prices with a little googling.

I need to conserve money since I am no longer a full time employee but it is worth saving money on 303 and other items like anitfreeze, GPS etc so I will see what is up with the Schaumburg, IL store. It is a shame to see it fold since there are no other Marine supply stores near me but the store by me was usually void of customers except during winterizing season.

Boaters World is owned by Ritz Camera, strange connection, but the same guy owns them. I have heard and read that Ritz Camera are having their own share of stuggles during these tough economic times (too many people going digital). I wonder if this cut is to help minimize the Ritz Camera bleeding?:(
