Aftermarket Ballast Install Around DFW

Where around DFW can a person get a aftermarket ballast system installed? If anyone has done it about who much does it cost for parts and labor? I'm thinking about getting a system put in my 22V.

It depends on what ballast system you use.

Jeff Stephens from Texas Boat Service & Repair (http://redssv.com/) can do installs. He services a lot of the local guys here (including myself) and his service is first class. He is also half the cost of any dealership.

Or The Slalom Shop (Tige Dealer) can do installs. I think I remember someone from the SS saying an install for a ballast will take around 10 hours

I really don't know what i want yet this is just the start of my shopping process I'm just trying to get an idea about total cost. Any advice about what ballast system would be appreciated. I was looking at the Rival System but i really don't know much about ballast in general.

I was in the same situtation last year looking fo rthe right ballast system. After talking with the guys at Rival Industries I have decided that it will be the Rival Systems. They say that with the 4 bags you can get about 1100 pounds of ballst. I will be having mine installed in the next month or so. I will try to post pics when completed.

The guys at Rival are very friendly and provide you good information. I too am trying to get a system installed in the dfw area, so far im thinking slalom shop but I am going to check out matt's guy.

I have the rival download in my 21ir and LOVE it. I put it in myself,took me a sat and sunday to do it. Terry and guys are great guys over there are Rival Industries.
