I got a new impeller for my ride, and it did not come with any grease to ease the replacement process. Can anyone suggest a suitable product for this purpose?
It's supposed to hit 80 here Sunday...water temp is a balmy 53*, so after the fluids and filter changes, I hope to get wet!:ro:

What about slime that you use for your bindings, would that be safe?

I use binding lube.
I was wondering if that would be safe for emergencies. I always have that on my boat, and my current spare, is my old impeller.

If you were installing an impeller and then putting the boat into service immediately, just about any grease/lube would do in a pinch :02:
