I just wanted to say have a great weekend and enjoy your families because they grow up fast and are gone before you know it. .:D:D.

SO HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND AND FOR ALL THE CA. BOYS. I hope you get out in on this warm weekend and enjoy the boat while gas is cheap. Because you know what summer will bring with gas prices.

Lakes are not warm here but the 100 degree rule might have to be taken on Sunday. ;)

Thanks for the reminder, I think we all forget what we have at times. :(

Gas prices won't go up like last summer. President Obama is in charge now and I don't see how he would let something like that happen to us like George Bush did.

In all seriousness, when the piper has to be paid for all of this bailout business, we are going to be in worse trouble than we are now. Government intervention is actually slowing the recovery process. The economy is on life support, but is already brain dead. Continuing to pour resources into failed policies just increases the bill and won't bring the brain back. For example, the free market would liquidate the subprime mortgage crisis in a brutal, but quick way, then we could get back to loaning money to people who are capable of paying it back. The government interventions along that front continue to keep people in homes that they cannot afford.

Oops. Sorry for the major threadjack. SBFan, you are right, despite those things that are worrisome to all of us about politics and the economy, we need to appreciate those things that are truly most dear to us, and let them know that as well.

It was cold on Monday when I arrived. Then on Tuesday it rained big time. And on Wednesday morninging when I flew out I flet like I was in Bakerfield CA. because of the fog. I could not see 20 feet in front of me. Tuesday it was not to cold though. It was about the same as California winter weather.

I had a good laugh on the way to RDU to fly out though. My co-worked took me to the airport. He was not familiar with the area as well as I thought he was. He turned on his GPS and it tried to take him one way and he said there was a back way to the air port. So he went the opposite way and tried to force the GPS to go the back way. He kept ignoring its effort to turn us to the air port. We drove for about 10 minutes. Next thing I know we jump on the freeway and I look off to the right and there is our hotel again. The GPS took us in a big circle and back to its original way that it wanted to go to get us to the airport. I was telling him the whole time to trust his GPS to get us there. Finally he understood what I was telling him. He is a new guy in the field and learning the travel thing so I let it slide this time. Good laugh though.:D
