OFF SEASON UPGRADES!!:ro::ro:
This winter we plan on buying PerfectPass StarGazer for Christmas and installing it early spring. We would really like to get ZeroOff but due to some complications I dont think it will be possible.
So what upgrades are you guys doing this winter?

Off season upgrades?? I feel like I've been non stop pouring money into my new investment since I brought her home. Either a nice slalom ski or ballast are going to be the next purchase.

I hope one of mine is not a new motor. We'll know in the spring. Other than that, I need to finish my stereo install and add some front ballast

A new kitchen for my wife, so probably nothing for the boat, plus I want a diesel truck!

If you need any help with design, PM me. I am, after all, an unemployed cabinet designer.
As for upgrades, I upgraded my family this year so, I'm going to keep upgrading my little girl's brain and skills. :D :D :D
I do have a '72 Chevy K10 S/B I'm hoping to get in the garage and start tearing into.

Perfect pass for sure. The stereo killed that this summer. Some ballast to do some surfing is also on the to-do list! Personally, I wanted to use more stereo equipment as ballast but the wife thought I was out of line :D

FAE or WS-420.
Probably the FAE so we either can hear ourselves think or listen to the stereo.
WS-420 can wait since I can switch off the tower amp.

Reg numbers :ro: sad but that's it. I'm saving for a new amp though... Have to get something a little more powerful to run the 10" Alpine X-Type I put in there :D...those things destroy :ro: :ro:

None. I am very happy with the boat. I will add an isolator that has been sitting in the garage for 6 months. Maybe I will sell the boat I don't know yet. If the Auto industry does not get a bail out I will have to sell my boat cause I will probably be laid off.

I want to install the ballast, but need tower repair or replacement first.
Tower replacements are not cheap. I replaced my Tige E-Series with a Sampson Razor and the base tower w/o Bimini, CIPA mirror and a few other nice to have was $3500 before shipping and install. It was way above that by time it was installed.
Even though I did not like the E tower I did not intend on replacing it. Unfortunately because I was over tired when picking up my dad at a nursing home, the tower got into a fight with a carport and the carport won.
I tried getting just the parts that were broken by XTP. XTP who built the E-series tower is part of Monster.com towers I was having some difficulty getting parts thru XTP. XTP was trying to figure out how to get me what I needed but since my insurance after deductible picked up the cost of the Sampson I decided to go that way. Nice Tower.
