Anyone out there have caster wheels installed on the back of their trailer? My prop guard is only about 3-4 inches off the ground when towing, and is scrapes the pavement anytime I come out of a driveway with the slightest dip. And yes, I have the lowest drop hitch I could find to keep the front as low as possible, but my truck sits fairly high.
I'm thinking of having some brackets welded on for casters, and was hoping someone would have pictures of the way they did it.
Thanks.

Scott,
I went through this situation with my last trailer. I don't have any pictures of the caster wheels I put on, but if you do a search on Wakeworld.com's forums you'll find what your looking for.
If you need a source for the wheels, look for one's designed for RV's like these http://www.campingworld.com/browse/skus/index.cfm?skunum=12850&src=SRQZ
There expensive, but won't come apart like the one's from Home Depot (don't ask how I know  )

Thanks Mike,
Did you have swivel type or fixed casters? I found a good deal on some (supposedly) heavy duty casters, but the website said to use the fixed type for RVs.
Thanks.

I used the fixed type on mine. Show us some pics when you get it done.....

I found some good pics on Wakeworld as you suggested and now have a pretty good idea on the way I want to do it. I'll let you know how it goes.
My trailer has the fixed castor wheels. I only use my trailer one or two times per season because I keep by boat on a covered lift, but when when I do use the trailer those castors save me every time.
