Ive searched thru the forum and havent found really any definitive answers about winterizing the ballast. which I need to do.
Its easy enough to poor antifreeze down the drain lines to circulate it thru those pumps...but the intake pumps..not so easy. I couldnt get enough suction (cause I didnt have a perfect seal) to get anything being sucked out of a bucket...but question if its necessary.
Ideas?
Someone posted his manifold holding the intake pumps cracked and to remove a pump and add RV there...but that manifold is in direct line to the intake hole...as long as the boats on a incline...everything should drain right out of there.

Do you have hard tanks or ballast bags?

I have the internal ballast system. What worries me are the 4 inline pumps that are hooked to a manifold that is directly inline with the intake. Dont understand why Id have to worry about he manifold...its the pumps that worry me.

Jack the front of the boat up and any water in the manifold and fill pumps should drain out.
