This thread is a tribute to the classic Tigé's.

I found several classic pictures posted from previous threads; I'm sure there are more out there -- Post them if you've got them - We'd love to see them! :ro:

1991 - Tigé was founded and the first Tigé enters the market with the 2000slm, named "Rookie of the Year" by Waterski Magazine for it's innovative approach to ski boat design.

nice thread!! My friend has an old school tige in Bartlesville, OK. I'll see if I can get a pic. His tige was what created my love for them.

Thanks jeanw for the post. It is good to remember all those boats I drooled over at the boat shows.

I love to see how the boats have evolved since. No tower or ballast back then. It shows how water sports have evolved in such a short time. I always wonder, as I'm sure boat designers do, what's next?

Me too! I wish I could say I took it but, I was snoozin'. My buddy snapped it for me one glorious Monday morning.

Thanks for picking the Double O to represent the "last of the V8 Intercepters" Jean.:ro:

Great Job. I really like the simpler graphics on the 2000 and earrlier models. Today's Tige's and their graphics look good but if I had a choice on a ordered new model I would choose the simpler graphics from yesteryears vs. current.:02:

It's actually Mayor Fenceline during the NCAR. Somehow I found I have a knack for jumping into a frey and turning it into happy hour.

Hi all.

As promised, photos of my new Tige 2000 SLM Comp, taken today:D! She's a 1993 boat with the mercruiser 350 magnum ski. She needs a polish and I must get rid of those mastercraft logos on the trailer:eek:! Will provide some internal shots once all cleaned up!

Happy towing!!

Congrats! She appears to be in at least decent shape. That trailer needs some serious help though. You got your work cut out for you.

Thanks for posting. We are still running quite strong in our '95! Plenty of power, TAPS, and nice wake for skiing (our main objective.) Great to see some others out there as well. I really like the way these boats look in the water. Cheers!

That is what we call our black and white beauty. A little hard to keep clean, but sure is cool in the Texas sun. Sure can't complain as Eric Ruck owned her first but the new ones sure are nice!
