Guys TIGE boats surprised DOMZ06 Sean today with a ride in a new RZ2, a TIGE pro team rider, a TIGE factory supervisor and a goody bag from the TIGE Factory staff.

Jean at TIGE Boats was the orchestrator of this and she did an amazing job. Pictures will be coming very soon with a complete write up on this. I will post pictures tonight and I am sure tomorrow. Dogbert was part of the plan with me. TIGE contacted me to put this together and we pulled it off.

Dogbert is going to do a whole write up on this and post all the pics for you I just wanted to get one up and going to get the thread going. The black boat is the new RZ2 and the Red one is my boat. Of course still missing the Bimini top I did not want to hassle with that. my hands were very full with all the other things I was trying to pull off for this surprise.

HERE IS SEAN THE FIRST TIME HE HAS DRIVEN ANYTHING SINCE HIS ACCIDENT AND WHAT IS IT A BRAND NEW TIGE RZ2.

Sorry guys, I'll post a complete story tomorrow. We had a bunch of INT meetings tonite. Stay tuned.

Sorry, guys, I'm a little late to the party here, but I have to tell you this was the ultimate humbling experience.

First of all, I finally got to meet Sean today and he's such a nice guy. His grit and determination is what's gotten him this far. You don't meet many people like this in life, so I feel very fortunate.

So, we've all heard the family boat spiel from Tige and we all bought a performance tow boat from Tige so we could all the things we love to do with our families. But there's really more to it than that. Why else would we have former Tige owners still continue to contribute here even though they no longer own a Tige. Heck, we even have boat owners from other manufacturers who have never had a Tige. Not only do you buy into the family boat, but you're part of the Tige family.

So, here's what happened. Tige built a RZ2 with the exact color scheme domsz06 likes and sent this boat to Bakersfield. They conspired with SPBFAN to arrange for Sean to be at a local lake. So, my son Ryan and I, along with Ed and Ben Trogden went to SPBFAN's house today. Ed and Ben went on to meet up with the Nick Weinacker and the Tige RZ2. SPBFAN and I kidnapped Sean for a day at the lake.

http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee313/dogberttx/seans%20day%20at%20the%20lake/RidingwithAndrew201.jpg

As domsz06 looks over the lake, he see's this beautiful RZ2 heading towards him.

http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee313/dogberttx/seans%20day%20at%20the%20lake/RidingwithAndrew209.jpg

Behind the boat there's this dude who throws a huge railey.

http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee313/dogberttx/seans%20day%20at%20the%20lake/RidingwithAndrew212.jpg

It's Nick Weinacker, one of the Tige team riders. As Nick puts it, this boat came with a Pro.

http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee313/dogberttx/seans%20day%20at%20the%20lake/RidingwithAndrew220.jpg

Nick's pretty cool. He gets out of his board and climbs up some pretty gnarly gravel to come up and talk to Sean.

http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee313/dogberttx/seans%20day%20at%20the%20lake/RidingwithAndrew223.jpg

Meanwhile, Eddie G, Ed and Ben Trogden pull up to the dock.

We all chatted for a while and then we got domsz06 onto that new RZ2. If you haven't seen the new '09 models, go check them out. I couldn't believe how big it was and the new dash is amazing. The in floor ballast was really nice and the boat handled like a dream.

http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee313/dogberttx/seans%20day%20at%20the%20lake/RidingwithAndrew225.jpg

Sean is so excited when he gets a call from Jean who set all this up with some help from SPBFAN. How cool is that? Tige really does look after it's owners.

http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee313/dogberttx/seans%20day%20at%20the%20lake/RidingwithAndrew227.jpg

We got the whole crew, including Eddie G, who as Nick describes him, keeps things running smoothly at Tige. This guy knows more about boats and how to build them. It's nice to see a manufacturer that has their production folks out in the field testing their boats in real life conditions.

http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee313/dogberttx/seans%20day%20at%20the%20lake/RidingwithAndrew229.jpg

Nick gets ready to give domsz06 an awesome display of wakeboarding. As Ryan said, "dude, I can't even name half the tricks you just pulled!" And he all makes it look so easy.

http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee313/dogberttx/seans%20day%20at%20the%20lake/RidingwithAndrew231.jpg

There are really too many tricks to show here, so I'll select a few highlights:

http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee313/dogberttx/seans%20day%20at%20the%20lake/RidingwithAndrew235.jpg
http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee313/dogberttx/seans%20day%20at%20the%20lake/RidingwithAndrew251.jpg
http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee313/dogberttx/seans%20day%20at%20the%20lake/RidingwithAndrew282.jpg
http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee313/dogberttx/seans%20day%20at%20the%20lake/RidingwithAndrew322.jpg

After the show was over, Sean got to drive the RZ2. This time it was Ben's turn to impress the judges...and we were all impressed. Ben's only 14 and landed his first invert back in April. Now he's competing in expert.

http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee313/dogberttx/seans%20day%20at%20the%20lake/RidingwithAndrew377.jpg

http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee313/dogberttx/seans%20day%20at%20the%20lake/RidingwithAndrew391.jpg

So, we asked domsz06 what he thought about the RZ2.

http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee313/dogberttx/seans%20day%20at%20the%20lake/RidingwithAndrew413.jpg

Then we all posed for some pics

http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee313/dogberttx/seans%20day%20at%20the%20lake/RidingwithAndrew416.jpg

http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee313/dogberttx/seans%20day%20at%20the%20lake/RidingwithAndrew415.jpg

We wrapped up this fine day on Andy's boat (sorry no pics here), but I'll post some from the day before. Then it was off to dinner with Nick. SPBFAN's family joined us as did Carly. It was a pleasure to meet them all.

:ot: If you ever have to go to Bakersfield, go hook up with SPBFAN And domsz06. These are two of the most gracious individuals you'll ever meet.

Meanwhile, Tige really outdid themselves here. It was definitely a tear jerker for everyone involved and I was glad I got to be a part of it, as we all did.

Oh yeah, there's an INT competition here in town. I gotta go to bed, but stay tuned for more pics. We're hoping to get domsz06 out for the pro riders.

Here is Nick right after he rode in to meet Sean. We set it up to where we pulled my boat to the lake and Sean thought he was just going to the lake to cruze with Dogbert his son and I. Nick, Ed, Dogbert, Ryan, and I set it all up the night before so Nick and Ed new what my boat looked like. We pulled up to the lake and had Sean get out and look out on the lake and there was the new RZ2 with Nick boarding in behind it to surprise Sean. Nick is so cool and a great representative of the TIGE Brand. He boarded over to the shore line and got out and introduced himself to Sean. I will let Torsten write up the rest. But here is one picture right at the begining. Seans smile is classic.

I can't say enough on how surprised I was and how happy I was!! They also gave me a SWEET Ogio backpack with Tige tshirts, decals, and stickers!!! Jean was way cool to talk to and an awesome person for setting this up. I hope she sees this thread. Nick is a way cool pro, easy to talk to and had no problem giving advice on tricks and anything else. I wish the RZ2 was for me, it is exactly how I would order it. It had plenty of room for me to get around in too. Maybe I'll have to trade mine in and get it. Maybe Tige or that marina wants to make me a deal. ;)

Once again I had a great day and it was awesome to meet everyone!!

After pulling the RZ2 and giving it a good coat of Babes we had another treat of going out on SPBFANs 24v. This is an awesome Tige with a huge wake and the Wetsounds are LOUD! As others have posted before "Hearing is Believing!"

Thanks dogbert, I think I told you the story, but I really wanted a DSLR for the trip. I sold my practically new Point and shoot on ebay, found this camera on craigslist. The guy met me about our hour before our plane left, I made him an offer and threw in my Escort wireless radar detector to boot. I never used it anyway and was lucky to get this camera - its a Nikon D70s with a 18mm - 135mm lens. I was honestly looking for a Canon xt or xti, which probably is a better camera for sports shots and higher mp. I only wish I had had it for a few days before we went out with Nick to get it dialed in.

Here are couple more shots from the trip.

Sean and Carley...recognize that guy in the back with the TX shirt? I cant believe TX did not win the best spirit award. Your guys stuck together and pulled for all your team riders. I could hear those cow bells when I laid down at night!:)

Your pics are stellar. I'm reviewing the 2,600 that I have for the really good ones. I had already culled over half that were not worth keeping. You guys have been warned...a really long thread is in your future...might take a while to download... ;)

Doms you must be so happy and grinning from ear to ear, that is so awesome, what a statement that is for tige' boats to follow through during your recovery and be loyal to their awesome owners. Makes me proud to be part of the family. I wonder if any other boat co. would go to these lengths? But lets also recongize the owners that came up with the great idea and effort to make all of this happen. You all :ro:

Go Sean!!!!!!!

Go tige'!!!!!!!

Go owners!!!!!!!

I appreciate the credit guys but all I did was facilitate the event. JeanW from TIGE contacted me and put the whole thing together. She was the one that made the offer and coordinated it all with my help. TIGE is amazing for what they did here and it was great meeting and getting know know Nick W. He is a great guy and pretty funny also. I can also say the same thing about Ed from the factory.

SPBFan,

Your efforts with Sean recently speak highly of the quality person you are. The world would be noticably better if more random acks or kindness were performed. It is exceptionally refreshing to follow your facilitation of this event.

Beyond well done

I am a little late to the dance, but it is good to see that Tige has character and is more about than just making a profit. It looks like it was an awesome day and wish that I could have come along and helped Dogbert with the flag. Great job to SBFan, Dogbert, Tthrog, Jean, Eddie, Nick and all involved. Sean, its great to see you out where you belong!:ro:
