I can't seem to find any MSRP on 2004 Tige 21i...Can anyone tell me what I should expect to pay for a 2004 21i with taps, tower, cover and pemium sound new?
Thanks

Grumpy,
I just bought a 2004 left over 21I and paid about 33K for the boat and trailer. It is a type R. So it has the tower and taps. It also came equipped with the 5.7L 335 HP Fuel Injected motor.
Let me know if you want anymore info. I also had them throw in the 05' graphics for that price. Just a thought that you might want to try to work that same deal. The graphics are about $600.

They are offering me 21i trailer, tower, dual batteries, premium sound, stainless railing, taps, 335 engine, and trailer for 36k. what do you think? I have not started to negotiate. But I think I am going to try and get closer to 33k. Thanks

Grumpy,

Sounds pretty much like what I have. I have those same options as well as docking lights.
Where are you living at? One thing that might have kept down the price of the one I bought is the fact that I live only 90 miles from the Abiline Texas Tige Factory. Shipping may have played a small role.
I think that 33 to 34 is a fair price. Make sure you ask about the graphics. I think that the 05' graphics are a lot nicer than the 04' graphics. Also, the only way to tell an 04' from an 05' is from the graphics so it will look new and fresh on the water.
Good luck on your purchase. My wife and I are 22 years old and this is our first boat. We have been really happy with it so far. We were looking for a boat that is great for both wakeboarding and slalom skiing and can say that it does both really well. Make sure you get a demo ride. That is what really sold the boat for us. The handling is Porshe like tight and the ride is straight and true.
Let me know how it works out. Good luck again.

When you all say 05 graphics, do they take the 04 off the boat then re-apply the 05 graphics? I am looking at the limited and I think the 04 and 05 grpahics are very similar(could be wrong).
Let me know. I am going to try and pull the trigger on this one before xmas.

Grumpy,
You are correct. The limited graphics are very similar from last year to this year.
I thought you may be looking at another model. The riders edition and west coast edition graphics are a big update however.
When replacing graphics your dealer would remove the old ones and replace them with the new ones. Pretty simple. The West Coast and Rider edition graphics are pretty neat looking, although they may be a little wild for some.
If looking at a limited I probably wouldn't bother witht the graphics.
Good luck on your purchase.
