I am heading out to Lake Havasu in a week and a half and would like to know what to expect if we plan to do some wake surfing. I followed a thread a while back about a warning someone received for surfing but just wanted to know if any additional information has come forward. We are really new to wake surfing but love it!

I am going to say it depends.

There are five agencies that patrol Havasu

-Lake Havasu Police
-Coast Guard
-San Bernadino County
-La Paz County
-Tribal Police

Dont forget the BLM. That is who gave me the warning. I was going to talk to them in there office but never had time. Been there many times after the warning and no issues. If you go during the week there will be no problems as there are not many boats enforcing.

we generally only go during the week and never see many patrol boats. I plan to surf anyway at least until I am told to stop. :D

I would not even know what to do with myself if I did not see 6-12 patrol boats on any given trip weeknight or otherwise!!!!! Like the water nazis man!

We were out a couple of weeks ago and a BLM boat pasted us while we were waksurfing, they didn't even slow down. :)
