I know it is not a boat show, but Tige did have the best booth of all of the Boat mfg's. Just to give you an example, Mastercraft had a boat and not a single Rep there the whole show, walk by the Tige booth and there is at least
two or three people working at any time. They even had a PCM engine displayed w/ PCM Rep standing by ready to answer any questions.
Again Tige goes above and beyond what they have to do.

I wonder if that is Tanner's RZ2 :D I know he ordered one. ;)
And that RZ2 looks like they have the ballast tanks in there. :D

Good to know that Tige is following through on the bed-side mannerisms... So very important!

Way to go Tige :ro: :ro: :ro: It's good to know that they take surfing, as the next big (i know, it already is) water sport, serious.

Even though it is called the Surf Expo it is 35% Wakeboarding, 35% clothing, 20% other, and only about 10% surfing related. I don't even think I saw a surfboard there at all last year.

I was referring to traditional surfing as surfing and wakeboarding as all wake related sports.
I really wish I could've gone to the Expo this year.

That is one sharp boat. I'm not usually a fan of black decks but that works well on that one.

In the pic above, the deck directly over the pickle front looks white while the balance of the deck is black (sharp!). If so, this is the second non-standard gel coat pattern we have seen pics of. The first was Spolk69's slick full white side with black and white transom.
So is it normal to be able to request gel coat patterns other than those shown on the web config applet?

The surf manufacturers were well-represented, but I think it's definately down from prior years. Lost and Surftech had huge displays, but the smaller folks are definately missing. In terms of floor space I think that the "surf" component had fully 50% of the total, but it's weird, because Body Glove and Lucy Love will be in there with the boards. I'd estimated it more to clothing than anything else with wake and surf being about the same in terms of display area. I was talking with one vendor and they were telling me that the "surf" floor space is cheaper than the "wake" floor space so folks that qualify to be in the surf area, try to save $'s by locating in that area.

It is not a black deck. This boat has the optional deck accent that goes the full length of the boat. Looks killer!

^^^
So the point remains that more than the options from the web config tool are avaialable. Widely available to any/most dealers? Or limited?
Any chance in getting a transom shot on that display boat above?

Ok, 2 color deck, good idea. You could have it white where arms and feet will be and still have some color. Nice

Hi Surfdad, I was glad to finally meet the famous Walker family in person. I hope Mike and Dennis sold several of your son's new Pro Model board,so you can buy a new boat from the sales. I think Wakesurfing is finally getting mainstream, it has taken a few years to catch on here in the deep south.

I just pulled the boat back from Expo and its new home will be on a lift at Gainesville Marina at Lake Lanier in Atlanta. Feel Free to stop by and check it out. If you want to demo, give me a shout and I would love to take you out in it.

What lee, Billy won't take you out anymore in his boats. Come on by anything for my good buddy lee!! Just got it in the water and went for a little set tonight. The boat is absolutely sick and we had some Nautique guys come by and check it out. Guess they are ready for a real boat!!

Heyyyy it's Markkkk (Mark has taken gooddddd care of me in the past as our tige Rep guys).... is there not anyway to order the RZ's w/o those black accents? Like in particular, could you specifically request to have the old school "brushed aluminum" in it's place?

Tanner, if you are speaking in regards to the interior vinyl texture that is called nexus, of course you can make a little old school style brushed. If you are speaking of the flat accent which is inside the boat, I might be able to pull some strings for you. You just let me know and thanks for the good comments!!!

Hey anytime... when u answer your cell on a holiday weekend and helped walk me through some things on my first day of ownership a few years ago you earned good comments!!!!!! But yes, I meant the flat accent... I can't stand having black vinyl anywhere on the seats. I don't want people w/ 3rd degree burns from my vinyl! LOL
I'll have Joe or Brad my dealers give you a shout.

Which dealer supported the booth? Or was it a Tige corporate booth?

For all of you who don't know, this is Dom's 67 Shelby GT 500. The crew at FIC put it in their boat show booth at the 2008 Tampa Bay Boat Show and it had phenominal response as well as the Tige Boats. Great job all of the crew at FIC and bet nobody ever saw a classic car like this in a boat show!! Dom make sure you wax it before I come pick it up!!
Make sure when you come to pick up the shelby your ready to take on the little women and Tony, you could probably take Tony but the little women, I dont think so.

I agree the Tige booth looked great. But just to stir the pot a little the Malibu, though a plain booth, was a great looking boat. You can't see it in the picture but the blue on that boat was metallic blue. It looked awesome! I know...metallic paint is for bass boats or jet boats, but I liked it. Reminded me of the stars and stripes mc that I grew up with. Would look great behind the shelby! Anyone get a shot of the FIC booth at the tampa boat show? I thought that looked pretty good too.

The graphics on the Tige also has the metallic looke to it. Pictures don't show it very well either. :(
