That will depend on how well she's got you wrapped around her finger ;)

There's an old saying I use in my line of business:

"Poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Also, somewhat relevant:

"Please solve your problems in advance so I can help you more."

I have until tomorrow now, I didn't wait until the last min, It was a qucik project on power point started yesterday, and due today, well the teacher realized that he didn't allow enough time for us. So we have until tomorrow. haha

I'm hitting the river now, later....

BTW we do this project in class, I would be going out on the boat with the project wasen't done;)

Oh, I'll admit I'm wound tight. Helping her last minute though becomes a bad habit she needs to learn to change. I hated to do it, but she had to learn now in elementary before her work REALLY matters in HS or college.

My 14 year old son learned to barefoot back in June. He loves it and is a natural (skiing on one foot and doing a 360 on his first day). There's a barefoot club here in Austin they're trying to get him to join. I don't know you guys do it, but it is just the nuts! :ro:

Alright-

I admit I took a tangent yesterday, and want to take the time to apologize. Thing is, I really did a lot of searching for a good shot; one that not only showed the power plant, but the uniqueness of the installation as well, and that is where things get real tough. That is when I got distracted. Again, sorry.

SO.....

Last night I spent some time diging around further, and I came up with this. Sorry Michael, it is still an installation that is not in a modern ski/wakeboard/tow boat, but it does show the basic setup and allows differentiation hopefully from an I/O installation or a v-drive. In this one, the engine IS easily identified as a modern V8... :) This was the one way I knew of that would allow viewing of the various component, so yes, this is in a wooden boat.

Anyway, I still think that gman's link has the best image for what I perceive you are doing. Maybe this helps too!

Good luck with the project, and hopefully you have what you need!

thanks for the comment. It does provide good details. I just hope he can use it in his presentation and get a good grade.

Didn't ya hear??? It was actually supposed to be about v-drives, :D

wannabewakeboarder
08-29-2008, 04:57 PM
I did it on the evoloution of ski boats, So there was a little bit about V-drives in it. I needed a picture of a DD engine, Mostly an engine with EFI, Not really an MPI, But it will pass in here because I'm that only one who knows anything about boats in my school. Like I showed them the differance in a DD and a V and How far things have come since the first ski boats in the 50's

Was the basis of your report the evolution of the hull?
