Just bought a 21I and was wondering how you guys weight them for boarding. I am a new boarder but have progressed pretty quick. I am hoping to start inverts this spring and need to know a little about the boat.
I know that TAPS is nice but I don't think it will make the wake large enough. If I am wrong please let me know. But it seems TAPS is more for shaping the wake then enlarging the wake.
Also, I was wondering how much it costs to get an internal ballast system installed and which companies do Tige's.
Any info would be great.
Thanks,
Mike

Check out jeffros setup on this page, http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=17&perpage=15&pagenumber=1
IMO, your right about the TAPS. It will defintely help shape the wake especially when you start adding some weight.
Also I know a few guys on here have the
Rival Download System (http://www.rivalindustry.com/download.htm) so hopefully the can chime in on the price and setup.
Congrats on your purchase.

i think we found the best setup for a 21i recently.
with just two of us (one driver and one rider), here is what we did:
550# in bow walkway
400# port side of the engine
250-300# (depending on wieght of drivers) on starboard side of engine
700# gullwing storage
300# under stadium seat
total: ~2100#
adjust taps for the shape and speed control (adjusting the taps will help hold your speed if you do not have perfect pass).
yes, it will eat gas like its going out of style. :)
