i've waited for months to see this new 09 rz2 team motosport xtreme team green kawaski does anybody know were we can see it its not on there web page and not on tiges.

I saw it and have been in it. It was and may still be at the Tige Dealership in Stillwater Oklahoma. They were going to have it just for a few days. I was in it this past Thursday. If it is still there tonight I will see if I can get a picture for you.

It was green and black and basically just a Tige RZ2 with the regular graphics and emblems with the Kawi name and a few riders names and number on it in small letters.

It is the green and black boat in the 09 pictures thread, but they added the names as stated earlier.

Tige's PR Department is something. I guess they are more involved with the Tige Pro/Am, websites, or magazines to get the word out about Tige Boats. It would be amazing if they could figure out what "Creative Advertising" is and be a first in the industry to do that. They continue to follow others in advertising for some reason. :rolleyes:

I was offered the Team Green Extreme sponsorship last year as a 2 year contract (partner and I ran a national sports marketing campaign for a food manufacturer) so I know exactly what it cost them. IMO the situation with Tige and this team is the exact reason why sports marketing is inneffective. Tige throws hundres of thousands of $$$ at a team and sits back to wait for the magic to happen!!?? <scratching head> Where's the logic in that. I saw 1 press release in RacerX and one little blurb on Tige's website. Tige is wasting thier money and then they are going to blame Team Green for not getting them enough exposure. Tige is doing a miserable job of exploiting thier investment. They should be doing rider parties in the ares of the races at dealerships, they should be sending good customers to SX/MX races, dealers should be going...etc. I can list 1k ways they could make good with the sposnorship $$. They are dropping the ball unfortunately.

MX/SX and wake crossover is un-freaking-believable. They've put themselves in a great position with the team--and they are a great team, especially the amateur portion---they are TOTALLY flubbing the follow through, or more appropriately the lack thereof.

Pretty sad when they can't even post a freaking pic of a boat with the graphics anywhere!!!!!! Anybody wanna takes bets they don't renew thier sponsorship after this contract?

It's not really so much where the riders finish as how you use the fact that you're involved in MX/SX. Of course, if you have the money Bubba or RC can get you lots of exposure, but that takes an incredible investment most companies just can't make. Team Green is a great program and they offer a lot for thier sponsors--the sponsors are obligated to take advantage of it and work it to thier own benefit. Most do that poorly at best.

I was under the impression Tige was the title sponsor for Team Green Extreme?

Either way Title sponsor or Associate sponsor--same principles apply. Follow through marketing and utilization of the investment are key.

when they are that great, they go straight to the factory team. Ryan Villapoto was on Xtreme Team Green 2 years ago when he was 17.

i'm sorry to say but Ryan Villapoto turned pro in 2005 and sign with Mitch Patton Monster Pro Circuit kawaski he took 20 place in 2005 in 2006 sx he took 3 place in mx he took 1 place in 2007 Ryan took 1 west sx and 1 in mx Ryan a bad a$$ and i keep up with all sx and mx since the late 80's
