New Towers

I was wondering if any one knows if the newer style towers will fit my 2001 21i? I have the 2000 tower, I would love to upgrade but dont want to leave any holes in the deck it would be fantastic if they would fit in place of my old school tower.

I have a 1999 21v and was told by my dealer that the new towers will only fit the 2005 models because mount plates are wider than the older towers.

I'd check out the Monster tower (http://www.monstertower.com). That's what I'm leaning towards.
