Taps Gauge

I like many others have had quite a few problems with my gauge not reading continuously after two costly trips to the dealer I fianlly started looking at things for my self. I noticed that when I knocked on the gauge it seem to work at times but not always I checked all the wires leading to the gauge and found them ok I did notice that the mounting bracket that held the unit appeared to be a little lose I tighten it up and haven't had any more problems I hope this info will help some of you with the problems you have or maybe a preventive maintenance check at the start of the season.

the mounting studs that hold the gauge in place are also the power and ground for that gauge.

what dealer did you go to?

I bought the boat from Berry Paulsens in Sacramento CA. I was useing there Livermore store untill they closed it down, in the future all have to use there Sac. Store, thanks for the reply all remenber the info
