OUt today and ran into Tim from Wetsounds!

He wasn't in his RZ4, but the Malibu he was riding in was fully decked out in Wet Sounds! He's such a cool guy.

On a sour note, there was a guy on a jet ski doing donuts right by the boat ramp we launched at. He was getting really close to us as my son dropped me off to get the truck/trailer. His wake almost pushed us into a concrete retaining wall. So I waved at him to move away from my boat. This @$$hole then proceeded to go off on my son and his friends. Fortunately, one of my buddies was still in the boat and he's a pretty big dude. So I yelled at him to come over and talk to me. I pretty much told him if he didn't stop going off on my kids, I was gonna level him. :mad: He actually started arguing with me because he was doing the donuts about 6" outside the no wake bouy. I reminded him that he need to stay 50 ft from my boat. He told me that I couldn't tell him what to do outside the no wake zone. So I said, "Whatever, I'll just call the lake patrol and they can explain it all to you". He backed off after that. I was ready to level the guy. :eek:

Hey, if you knew me, I really don't get riled up all that often, especiallly about stuff like that. But, the way this guy was behaving, I thought he was going to climb in my boat. I mean all my son did was idle out past the no wake area and this guy came completely unglued because we'd just motioned for him to back off a bit. I was pissed because he was yelling at my kid.

yeah, the Malibu is getting a WS 420. When saw that happen and were all going, dang it, why do we not have the 420 hooked up. We would have been yelling!!!!!!!!!!!

Usually it is just wally weekend on LA but I guess it is summer.

I wish we ran into you earlier. I was double surfing 2 boats with Stu's Malibu and Greg from lake lessons Supra. We had a monster curl going. Pretty wild. You should have seen the looks when we rolled by with me surfing back and forth between the boats.

Actually, we saw you and surfed right by you. I was tempted to make it a 3-some, but we had a novice behind the boat who was trying to learn. If one of my kids was behind the boat, we probably could have made it work.

That wake was awesome. I tried to get one of my kids to take a picture. Not sure if you realized, but when you were surfing, the only part of your body that we could see once you past was the top of your head. That wake was a monster! :ro:

LOL, my son once played on an indoor soccer team. They decided to call themselves the Killer Sea Bass. They were actually pretty good. Lots of trash talking going on before each game from their opponents. They got pretty inspired by all that.

No way!! That would have been intense. Yeah I was so worried about trying to ride it, had no clue how big it was. A 3-Some would have been unreal.

We had to run them up to 15 to 16 mph. Luckily I was on my new Walker Project that is really fast and surfy. So it was cool once I get it dialed to surf back and forth both waves was really cool. But strange hauling so much A@@. I am hooked now.

A pic would have been great. Of all times, we didn't have a camera.

Next time I see you, it's on. This is my new fav.

I guess you need to get a WS-420 now Dogbert. I hate the water roaches. I own two wave runners my self but I keep my distances and don't become a water roach. I think that I am motivated to keep a distance because I also own a boat and understand the frustrations from other jumping my wake on their roaches (wave runners). You should also get the Siren from TallTigeGuy. That is fun to play it gets there attention when you crank that with a set of Pro 80's and 60's. I had my friend behind the boat that is a City PD and he started laughing when I played the siren to get people to pay attention to where they were driving.:)

I did find out from my son that he was staying close to the boat ramp because he was on reserve. After we pulled out and wiped down our boat, we chatted with Tim for a while. I bet that guy was hiding until we left :ro:

What a dumb@$$, imagine an average sized guy pissing off 2 big dudes over 6'3". Not to mention all the other 6 guys in the Malibu right next to us. All that with is kid on the back. :bs:
