Does anyone know what size alternator they put on tiges? I need to get a new one, aka, with the amps I have in my boat it just can't cut it. I have an 03 21ir with the 350 315 merc in it. Thanks.

Plus does anyone know if the high out put off a malibu would fit? I can get malibu parts at cost(friend deals in them) Thanks for the info.

Dont know where you could buy it, but the owner of Lit Up Electronics is based here in Dallas.

It might not be USGA approved.

your best bet would be to contact an alternator shop and have them build you a custom alternator to your suit needs. just remember, if you put a high amp alternator in be sure to upgrade your charging wire harness or you could melt down the electrical system.

When I bought my boat, the Ski Dock recommended that when I fuel on the trailer to make sure the bow was even or lower than the stern or otherwise I would get back pressure on my '99 21V that will cause fuel to spill when the tank got full. Consequently, when I fill up on the water, I usually put some weight on the bow to compensate and have had no problems.
