I was wondering if anybody has installed this on there Tige'? Also, how much if any cutting did you have to do. Does anybody do this in the Dallas Fort Worth Texas area? Any help will be appreciated.

Forget the captain's call, just get an FAE (http://www.boatpipes.com).

I dont see any reason why a ski boat/ wakeboard boat should sound like that :02:
Plus, you dont want to be breathing any more crap then you already are.

The orange Tige in this pic has side-swipe. Cant remember his name or if he's a member here, but if he comes back to our 2nd annual Tige owners day in 2 weeks, I'll let him know about this thread.

That is the thing i miss most about my bajas, well and an extra 25 mph, if i could do it reasonably i would do it in a heartbeat, i think the last time i checked on pricing the kits started at about $3000, that may have been installed.

The FAE is the best stereo upgrade you can do.

The only way to do it would be swide-swipe. Becuase the exhaust over the platform would be unsafe and unsightly.
FAE would make it quieter
plus when you do that it takes up alot of the storage in the lockers....:02:

Either way, I wouldn't be surfing behind that boat.

The major problem would be it would never be quiet again, i dont know how many people on this site have had captains call or quick and quiet but the diverters never really seal that good and it will always be louder shut off then with out it.

You've obviously not experienced an FAE. It's really quiet. We're talking at least a 75 Db reduction in noise. On mine it's more like 90 Db. You can't hear the engine if you're wakeboarding. Even in the cockpit, you only hear the actual engine itself and no exhaust sounds. It's really amazing.

i believe i was talking about captains call and quick and quiet, i have never seen an FAE kit before in person but considering it never gets out of the water it is obviously going to be quiet
