What is the going shop rate in your area. Is $115 to high :eek:

$65 is kind of standard. Highest I've seen here is $89

Yes. They quoted me $900 :eek: to clean my injectors $708 of that was labor just to get the injectors out and they were out sourcing the cleaning :eek:
I dont mind paying for a good tech, but come on 5 hrs labor for a 1 hr job. Something is not right.
I hope Wasatch gets diacom for the PCM's soon

Unless they were going to clean them by hand with a tooth brush :eek: :confused:
Is there a reason you think you need them cleaned?
I should add that the injectors could be replaced for that amount.

diagnosis was 2 clogged injectors # 1 and 5

From my experience, an "injector cleaning" never cleans clogged/stuck injectors, It's more of a preventive maint. deal.
If the correct injectors were isolated, buy 2 and swap them out yourself. Takes about .5hr.

Thanks got the numbers last night and have a line on some from SPBFAN.
Thought I would try the cleaning thing first though, but if the price is right I will just pick some new ones.
What do think about rebuilt ones?

Never heard of/used referb injectors :confused: I would be a little hesitant :02:
