How do you guys have your insurance setup on the boats. My boat, cars and house are all insured with Alfa and they break it down into three categories:
Boat: $amount
Engine: $amount
Trailer: $amount
I'm just curious how you would price it for insurance. Mine just came up for renewal and I'm wanting to change the values they have listed.
My boat is a 2000 21V Limited with 200hours on the Mercruiser 350 MPI with a dorsey tandem axle trailer. My agent currently has it set at:
Boat: 29000
Engine: 2900
Trailer: 4000
This just doesn't seem right to me. On our last boat the engine was valued much higher.
