Sup fellas,
I just had a 2004 switch v sent to me from cali. After searching for awhile I realized they didn't include the owner's manual, and can't find it anywhere online. The boat's working out great, everything else works (blower, blige, lights, taps) but the sound system (4 speakers, 2 amps 4 tower speakers). I thought this might be a power issue, since the headunit won't even turn on. I took the headunit out of my truck and plugged it in the boat, and it didn't turn on (so I know its a power issue). all the accessory switches work except for the one closest to me on the starboard side (it won't light up when turned on). I thought this might be a fuse issue, but I can't find it, since I don't have the manual. If anyone could help me with this problem, or has the owner's manual (just email it to me at Janski_47025@yahoo.com) it would be much appreciated.

Is it a dual battery setup? You might have two batts with an EIDB system. One of the batteries might be disconnected.

Is the Switch V you purchased a Red one, with a faded red trailer? If so, I was thinking about buying that one.

I agree on the duel battery setup. May be dead, bad, or something left disconnected.

Did you turn the key to the on or accessory position? Not sure if you were testing on the lake or out of the water. If out of the water on my boat everything works except the stereo. key must be turned to accessory to work when boat not running

haha, yea rebel it is the red one. We were testing it out of the water and in the water with the engine on, it does have the dual batteries so i'll check them and get back to you guys.. hopefully its something as simple as this.

If not, there's two inline fuses under your dash that provide power from the wiring harness to the instruments & accessories. They're located close to the ignition switch. Your H/U will be wired to that because when you start the boat, it will temporarily disable all accessories.

That looked like a nice boat. I ended up with a yellow one, that was within a 3 hour drive, much easier. :-)
