I like the shape alot but I'm not really into the silver/grey thing with the wholes. It's different and thats what makes it cool though.

Sweet! If you need someone test one out for you....It would look sweet on my red and white 22I I wouldn't charge you any extra for the market testing. ;)

This tower is great looking in photos, but in person it really stands out. I don't want to speak out of turn, but I heard the pricing would run about $1000.00 more than their Extreme Phat Tower. That should price it around $3350 SRP. Expensive, but worth it. The supports are billet machined from 1 piece of aluminum, and the welds are the best I've seen. I see this on my list of Really wanted items for my boat.
Anyone interested in a slightly used Extreme Phat tower? I need a new one!

after looking at it... how does it collapse? Thats of paramount importance to me, as I've gotta get the boat through a 7' garage door.

How would speakers and light bars attach? It looks like the only straight bars are those going from front to back. It might be difficult for many speaker and light brackets to accomodate the curves.
Overall it looks mighty sturdy and stylish. The color scheme looks great to me.
looks like you may be able to mount speakers, etc to the rear bar that goes over the top. The clamps may not have the bolts exactley at the top, but I don;t see that as a big issue if you get your tunes and lights up there. But you never know just from looking at pics

the clamps I've got arent more than 2" wide, and would accomodate a curve like that. Additionally, theres an overhead crossmember that you could use with the clamps rotated at 90 degrees.
At first glance, the tower looks great. After looking a bit closer, it seems like the driver's view to either side could be obstructed by the tower itself. I also think the price is way too steep. Where can I get some of those board racks?

I agree with zeda on the obstructed view. But that tower reminds me of Hanz's Boss tower. I think overall its a nice looking tower.

The Racks and their other accessories are here - http://www.phatbudde.com/access2.html
or at Tige' Watersports pro shop - 951 - 737 - 9801
I am not sure why I forgot, but I saw the new phatbuddy tower on Bisch's boat and teh speakers were welded (yes welded) to the tower. The tower was bada@*! I went with the samson on mine and wish I would have known about the new phatbuddy. It's 3" (yes 3") and the tower actually bows out where the driver is. The thing was rock solid and if you can't tell I'm envious!
No Iam not suggesting that you weld your speakers or anything else to your tower :)
one thing about Bisch's tower though is it did not have the flat aluminum tige deal, it was tubular like a normal tower.

Yeah, I had the option of getting the welded tower speakers on my Xtreme Phat Budde Tower but opted for the billet clamp. That way if I ever feel like changing I have the option.
Not sure on price for this tower. This is the first one built and nothing has been finalized from what I was told. Yes, where the tower is gray will most likely be a polished billet piece, this one has been powdercoated gray. The Tige sticker in the oval will actually be engraved as well as an integrated rope hook inside the tower so it will be completely hidden without the doorknob rope hook up top.

I like it, I had a nice view of it from my room over the last weekend in Parker and all of my buddies thought it was pretty cool as well.

When can I get one? Seriously, I'm in the market and this is pretty close to the 2005 tower they put on the 22V. I need one for my 1999 21V.

I really like this tower and was under the impression it would cost around $3000 - $3500. At that price it seemed high but I heard that this tower actually cost $5000!! Does anyone know if this tower actually costs that much?!?!?

WOW!! Why makes it so much more expensive than the other towers on the market?
How much is it to purchase it without installation, I'd hate to have to pay for gas to tow my Tige all the way to the west coast : ) That'd be like adding insult to injury!!

i'd say that 50% of the tower is made from bilet aluminum and then polished to a mirror finish. if you look at the red tower at the beginning of this thread all the silver parts are now polished high grade billet aluminum. expensive stuff.
cantact phat buddie. i'm sure they can ship you one. that can't be cheap either.

what are the color options? Also, would the tower mount to the factory tower's holes?
