There have been a number of messages on this forum regarding aftermarket fuel flow meters. Would those people that bought a third-party fuel flow meter be upset to find that their Tige guage package may have already supported this funtionality?

I confirmed an earlier post to this site with Ted Genard, Customer Service and Warranty Manager for Faria. Their Commander Hour Meter/Tachometer guage installed in most newer Tige boats has built in firmware to support fuel flow management. You just need to purchase the correct wiring harness and transducer ( part numbers below ) through your Tige dealer and install.

The installation process is documented in the Commander manual that came with your boat, the manual also documents the additional menu options for fuel flow management. This documentation is also available at http://www.faria-instruments.com/index-new.html

Parts needed...

Sender Unit - Faria Part Number SN0019
Wiring Harness - Faria Part Number HN0354

Enjoy!

as i posted before, you can have fuel flow but loose your air and water temp.

Thanks Tige M.D. for researching this further.

I think I'd rather have water and air temp. then the fuel flow.

I think I'd have a better chance though of guessing the air/water temp than judging how much fuel I used. :D

why don't you guys use your fuel gauge? I mean On mine it does move around, but when it hits e, and stopps moving I still have 8 gallons left. I guess maybe I'll think different when I run out of gas, but until then, I think my system works well;)

If you add the flow meter and loose the air/water temp, just use Wakeboard Pro for the water temp and your body will tell you if the air is hot or cold.

how do you make wakeboard pro read the water temp? I have wakeboard pro and it doesn't, or at least I don't know how to make it.

Press the "Menu" and "^" and the same time and it will take you to a sub menu with air temp, volts and engine hours.
