I'm kind of in a bind with our Rz2 or trading for an Rz4. If I keep our Rz2 i would want to add Wet Sounds or Dbot5's but question is would Pro 80's ( 4 or them) fit with my bimini (stock). Another question is how would the they sound with Kickers in side the boat. Would I probably have to go with Pro 60's?

Also what is the loudness difference between the 80's and the 60's is it worth it?

I have the 80's and a 485 and it is loud. all we had to do is lower the side arms on the bimini and they worked fine. I am sure your top and tower is a little different though.

Get wetsounds over the Dbot'5.

As for pro 80's vs pro 60's there will be a good difference.

You could go with a set of 60's and 80's witch it's called the double-up I think.

Nope the double up is what I have and it is the 60s and MB8s which is the best of both worlds you get more bass on the tower and the highs frm the 60s.

I run the 80s and 60s and love em. I've heard from someone that has the 80s and 485 and he thinks the set is too heavy and it shakes the tower. Not sure if anyone else feels that way, it could be an issue as well with 2 pairs of 80s. I could be off my rocker too though, just going off what I've heard.

depends on tower as well.... I have seen the tige tower shake pretty good but my samson seems to be solid with the double up weight.

I have two 485s on my tower and my tower shakes a little bit more but not too bad.

Mine doesn't shake with the 80s and 60s but may with two pairs of 80s. I don't know. Those 80s are beefy though.

Do you have to take your tower up and down a lot? If so how heavy is it with a pair of Pro 80's and a pair of Pro 60's?

When on our favorite lakes in No Indianna we need to drop tower twice when going thru a channel that connects the smaller ski lake to the larger crusing / sandbar lake.

I drop it everytime as I store it at my house in the garage....
I can do it all my self it is heavy but not impossiable.
Again I have the double up (60s and MB8s) I dont know the weight difference in the mb8 and the 80s but cant be much.

I have the weight info from WS.

singles

PRO 60 =9.7LB
M8 =10LB
PRO 80= 13.5
485= 33.5 LB

So basically a D up is 39.6 lbs total and a 3 some is 60.5 lbs total

By the time the clamps are on, I know the 485 is more than 33 lbs. You can pick the sucker up and tell that. I'd say closer to 45.

I started with a pair of Pro 60's and added a pair of 80's and I have noticed that there is a considerable more movement of the tower since I added the second pair of speakers to the stock tower...
