I could over-react, but I won't ;)
I like it (and my CFO likes it) and those are the two opinions that matter :p

That should be the normal gray interior.

Trying to sell the 24Ve before I take the RZ2. Really can't afford two boat payments with 5 growing boys living in the house. ;)

Da.Bell I feel ya. Actually I'm going w/ the mushroom interior as well... and brown carpet ( I don't know why Tige doesn't list this option, even though it's available)

You are right, it is... Was utilizing a lot of my friends boats last year not to mention I got hurt a few times that took me out of boarding. Then having 5 boys with them playing a sport after sport, I am surprised that I even had 72 hours on it. :)

Thanks, that is what we think also. However, with the economy like it is, it might not be low enough. :(

Bell,
I agree with you, get ready for someone to at least ask $1000 less. I was asking $45,500 for my 22V that had 129 hrs and was like new. The couple had been looking for Tige's but there aren't a lot of used ones up here for sale so we lucked out. I did notice yesterday on Craigs list Ski Dog up in Seattle had a new 07 22Ve for $48,000 so I guess I timed my sale perfect.
I ended up selling for $44,500, in 5 days. Not sure what your market is like where you are.

We will see. The dealer still has some 07's that they will want to sell first but they are estimating that they might be sold soon. However, my asking price is right below what they are asking for the new '07's but I have the extended warranty that I am including. So, I think we will be okay once they get rid of the 07 stock. :D

I also have a Craigslist ad on the boat also. I got this today in the AM... he he he Do you think it's a scam????? ;)
Hi,
Thanks for the response.I am willing to pay your
asking price for the boat.I will pay by a cretified
cashier's check.Since this is a huge amount of money
that will be paid to you,i would like to send payment
directly to your bank so that funds can be processed
and credited into your account.
In order for this to take place,i would need you to
send me your Bank address and phone number, Account
name, account number, routine number.Once payment has
been sent to your bank,i will notify you so you can
check with your bank .
After receipt of payment is confirmed,we will
proceed with the shipping of the boat to the United
Kingdom where it will be used.I have already commenced
arrangment with a local shipping company to that
effect.
Please take the posting off craigslist today and
consider the boat sold to me. Expecting to hear from
you soon.
Regards
Rafael Rodriguez

Great places to list boats are Craigslist and OnlyInBoards.com. Both of these sites have huge amounts of hits. Craigslist has received 300+ hits in week and onlyinboards.com has received 625+ hits in two month period.
BoatTrader.com didn't get any results nor the amount of hits that the other two have done. BoatInsider.com sucks so bad that I haven't even had one hit on that site.
Food for thought. :02:

when you say hits are your talking about views or people contacting you.

Engine bots count as hits too.

Yes, but BoatTrader and BoatInsider were very, very low numbers so if someone was searching google for a 24Ve, these two sites wouldn't list them in the google results.

I don't envy you selling your boat right now and having 2 payments. I hope you find a buyer.
I took my boat to my local shop today. I don't go the 2 hours to the dealer, he does my service and stuff, and is installing a second batttery and a 2 bank tender today. First, when I called last week, I couldn't believe he could take me so soon. Second, I got their this morning, and his lot was empty, they were waiting for me to work. I live in a lake community, mostly fisherman, but tons of boats up here. This time of year, he is usually PACKED and frantic. With the election, people frightened about the economy, housing prices still falling, gas through the roof, and add to that the lake is just barely at 50% capacity in june, its like a perfect storm.
I didn't think it would effect him this much. Anyway, I hope things are better down where you are, not too far away.

Thanks ragboy. We are getting inquiries but not as much as I would like but needless to say, there is some interest.
I talked with the dealer yesterday and the General Manager (Warren) said that sales on new boats in the upper price range is not there yet. He seems to think that it will take some time and a few warm weekends but I am still optimistic that the boat will sell before the summer is out.
