OK so I have one more project to complete before my wife says no more to the boat and that's replacing the awful surface of the fiberglass swim platform with either Hydroturf or Gator Grip. (Tigé are you listening?) The stock surface is rough and uncomfortable to sit or stand on... I think it's "cool" to have the Tigé "é" all over the place but I need something that doesn't offend my delicate sensibilities. :D

Hydroturf (http://www.hydroturf.com/)
Gator Grip (http://www.wakejunky.com/)
I'm leaning towards the Hydroturf because they offer a variety of patterns to choose and the samples I have seem really nice and cushy... If I'm not mistaken 'bu uses Hydroturf on their platforms and they seem like they are super comfy. I've only seen them in the showroom, never ridden behind one so I can't say from experience. I just don't think the Gator Grip is as nice looking over the Hydroturf.
So is anyone using Hydroturf? I know there are several using Gator Grip. Is either one slippery when wet? (Great now I have Bon Jovi in my head. :ro: ) I don't want kids, or worse yet me, falling down and cracking a skull. I guess my point here is the comfort that these products give, offset by an element of danger?
As always your opinions and pictures are appreciated...

Never used the hydroturf, but I have the gatorgrip on the footwell of my stand-up jetski. It's nice-not slippery and holds up well.

Whats the best way to get the old matt of the swim platform? I gotta do mine to and might as well ask while we are on the subject.

Probably not. What you see on the website is probably all they got. They discontinued the blue/black I bought last year, so I will have to go blk/blk for my swim platform

I'm going to give Seadek (http://www.seadek.com/?gclid=CN7IqYn-zZECFQISYQodi1vNhA) a try to replace my bow and gunnel traction pads. It's a lot cheaper in price than the others, it has a proven track record and it comes on Malibu boats as standard equipment. The only downside is that it comes in limited colors that the wakeboat crowd would probably want, i'm going storm gray.
I wonder how that stuff on the malibu platform stands up. I need ot replace mine becuase it makes everyones feet black now.

CP3, assuming your talking about Seadek if it's not listed call them, what i hear is that they can custom cut to size.
