Hey, I just read on this site that the 2008 Tige Pro Am Wakeboard Championships will be in my back yard June 21st! Portland Oregon, 30 minutes from my house.
Sparky, Carter, others, have you heard any details on location?
I thought they were usually the last comp of the year?

From what I hear, MasterCarp pulled out of this date, so Tige stepped up :ro:

I no its a board event because it's the same weekend as our Tige Owners Day so we will not have a pro rider this year. Tige announced this right after we set our date.

LIKE Hey we can't always get what we want.Sometimes we have to settle or compromise due to circumstances beyond our control and desires. Personally I'd rather see slalom but I can live with boarding.

The previous events, PWT have been at Blue Lake Park which is in the Portland city limits, next to the Columbia River. It's a really small lake. One problem that I see if it's there again is, I don't think you can have your boat on the lake while the competition is going. It would be nice to hang out on the lake for the weekend.
