Does anyone know where I can find a light for my tower. I would light to replace the rope pull point with one that has a light on top of it.

Thanks
Sam

If your wanting to light up the lake at night there is a little more to it than that.
Last time we got into this (night boarding) peoples feelings got hurt. I'm not sure where the old post is. I'd deside how much light is needed before I spent the $$$ on almost enough light.

I think he means that his tower (like mine) did not come with a navigation light and he just wants to find a new pylon that incorporates the light like all new towers.

Sam,

Got my tower nav light on Monstertowers.com I have the same 21V only in red and I was getting tired of everyone breaking my stearn light on the booze cruises I have so I put the nav light up on top of the tower. It was easy to install only 2 screws and its a bright LED so you just have to run 2 wire and tie them into your switch for the Nav

I have the old Metcrap tower, can I do this w/ that tower? If I am out all day I have my bimini top up my navigation light can't be put up w/out hitting the underside of the bimini top and can't be seen by on coming boats. I don't take the top down if I am going back out the next day. Any suggestion?

TK, let us older boat owners know, I have been considering that mod but did not know which way to go with the old metcrap tower. Let us know if you have the same tower, and what the link is.

Thanks yes I was talking about the Nav light. I will look into the Monster and see if that will work on my tower. I also have a Metcraft. It is a newer model then the age of my 01 21V. I will let you all know how it goes. It will be nice to have the nav light on the tower.

I just looked on Monster tower at the navigation light yall are talking about. $35 is way to much for that light I just got the same one for my go-devil boat from wal mart for $15.

I don't think you're going to find one as a tow point, but the Monster Nav just attaches anywhere on your tower.

Now that's a challenge. I think I saw one last year so now I'm going to have to spend my whole day at work finding it.

Just would like to ask if either of these lights work if they were put ontop of the tower in the front. This way it would not be in the way of the skiier, wakeboarder or surfer.

Thanks. I like the light Dogbert showed but don't know about the cost. I really don't feel comfortable taking the boat out at night because you can't see my light. I have the port/starbort lights just not the navigation light. That is why I have been thinking about adding one.

I have gotten answers with 3 sizes for the E Series tower. I have seen 2 7/8 posted, 2 1/2 posted and now 2 3/8.

According to the dealer I bought the boat from they claim 2 1/2. At least there were no 3.0's posted.:D

Lab - We have the same boat with the same factory tower...

I will tell you this... I ordered a 2 1/2" mirror mount and it was too big... Reordered a 2 3/8" and it fit like a glove...

Ordered a Flag mount in (that came only in size 2 3/8 - 2 1/2) and it needed the plastic inserts to snug it up and make it fit...

Put up my wetsounds Pro 80's last weekends and used the 2 1/2" inserts (there is no 2 3/8") and they are a teensy bit loose... It's not that they're going anywhere but you can move them with your hand if you try hard enough...

So I'll leave it up to you as to what the size of your tower is... :ro:

OK, I'm heading to my dealer's this morning to meet with him and have lunch ;) I will take my calipers with me and measure a tower on a 20V. I dont think they are made of a diff diameter tubing, then the others, just diff foot-print to fit a 96" beam and shorter boat. We shall find out once and for all :D

I was planning on wiring mine this weekend and re-wiring my speaker wires in the process. I have a problem now where the speaker wires are going up on the driver's side of the tower and their proximity to the other cables going from my dash to the back of the boat are creating some interesting results on my guages (my tach moves to the beat of the music ).

Got a link?

I found out that it will work on tower that the tow point bolts to the tower from the top. I have an older metcraft tower and my tow point mounts on a plate and from the bottom. With talking to the sales guy you take the lens off and a bolt runs through it.
So I hope it can for someone.

It looks like I will get a light like Dogbert.
