View Full Version : Look What I got...
It my new vision air chair that I just put on. I won it with the pimp my tige at the 1st annual southeast tige owners reunion, and thats not all I won. So this should encourage everyone to come and have a good time.
The chair is sweet and so are the pro 60s. :D:ro::ro:

Does it sit lower than your old chair. Preliminary measurements on mine is that it is 3-4 inches lower than the old chair

Nice I sat in a few at the dealer when I ordered my Z1 and the only downside I had was it doesnt swivel well and is a very tight fit. But loved how comfortable and height of it.
Enjoy!
I measured and its only about an inch or two shorter than the original seat. The original seat is in my garage right now if anyone wants to buy it:D
The only downside is when i sit down in it my butt kinda hits the sides where the material is mounted and thats not very comfortable, but i do like how the boltser locks in the upright position

Looks great CP3, glad the swap went easy for you. Thanks for the "NC Southeast Tige Owners Day, June 21, Lake Wylie, Charlotte NC" plug :D :ro:
They are made my Attwood Marine, and are about $700 aftermarket. They come all white I think, at least the ones i've seen online. Do not know what Tige wants for them, with a color added and the "Tige" logo embroidered

Buff, these bolt to the same seat-base and pedestal as all the other seats, so the hard to swivel part is unrelated to the Vision Air chair and in the base/pedestal. There is a crank that you can tighten/loosen, to control swivel.

Cool maybe they had an issue with the one they installed it was in an RZ4 (which u would think is the best part for that big boat) and it rubbed the side wall and was super stiff to swivel. Glad to know they arent all like that....enjoy!

You can also buy it minus the Tige' logo, some of the styling (I actually like the offering from Attwood with the open back better), and probably save a bundle from an Attwood dealer. They are still fairly pricey as opposed to the seats from previous years that sell new for nearly half.

Did you re-use your pedestal, or do you have the old one?

The vision air seat is awesome, I made that an option upgrade on my Ve and I love it. If I remember correctly it was $500 or $550 option add on. The mesh back is great, esp. on those extremely hot days when our back side would be soaking wet being nestled into a vynil seat, with the mesh back it's all a breeze, and feels great. You are going to love that chair.

the only downside I had was it doesnt swivel well and is a very tight fit.
this seat also moves fore and aft, if the position of the seat is to far rearward it will drag the side near the throttle handle when trying to swivel. But if you move it forward it turns all the way around. If the chair is too far back it works kind of like an eccentric, and off center moving a large part of the seat outboard to the side.

Im not sure yet let me figure it out, and I did reuse the pedestal on my new chair
I am tempted to buy two for my sports seating...Looks great CP3!

I'm redoing my upholstry...I'm definitely thinking of just replacing my seat (which needs to be redone) with one of these :ro:
