You mean a bolster seat, Where there is a smaller part that flips up so you are siting up higher?

I bought a taller pedestal and replaced the shorter one. Is this what you are talking about?

My bolster seat is wearing out, I talked to my dealer about doing this exact thing. Where did you buy a taller pedestal from?

This is what I got.
Made by Garelick Marine Products, the base is 13”inches tall, has 6 securing holes and will fit all seats that take a 2-7/8” tube diameter. The pedestal part number is 75913-30.
I cut 3" off and shortened it. I now sit in the seat with the bolster in the normal seated position and look out slightly above the windshield. I think these are like what I purchased. The 10" model would be equal to what I ended up with after I cut it off. Be sure it is the same as your current one. Mine was a direct replacement.

Tige offers an adjustable-height seat base. May find it in the aftermarket also.
