Hey guys I bought my boat in may its a 2004 24v riders. I have a sony head unit that doesnt seem to be too good, I cant even adjust the bass so at higher volume everything gets distorted this is unacceptable for me. I have 4 alpine cockpit speakers that sound pretty good when the volume is about mid range. My tower speakers are MB quarts which i understand are great speakers but one is blown. They are amped by an alpine amp. Here's the deal I have two solo baric kicker L7's 10's and two 600 watt kicker amps that used to be in my truck they sound great. I want to put them in my boat which i dont think will be a problem. Ok Here's the questions I have I have a sony head unit with a sony transom remote, am I stuck with sony if I want my transom remote to work? Another question I have the Phat Budde tower how are the speakers attached to the tubes on the tower? Sorry long post guys, but I want to dial it in!

Is the transom remote round or a custom shape?

You have many options then as long as it is a 2" hole. There is even a universal that can be mounted in there. So find a HU you like and start building the system out!
