September Gift, and I love My Wake

Been watching the weather, and yesterday was supposed to be in the 80s, and low to no wind. We went out, and it was gorgeous. The water was cold, but other than that, it was a beautiful day.

Also, I just have to say, I love my Tige. And more importantly, my wake. The wake on my 24Ve is so beautiful, its a perfect ramp of water. I only put 400 in each locker, and my family, and thats it. The boat still does 42 on the top end like this also. Its amazing to have a wake like this, and the boat still handles great, great mileage and all. This wake is def bigger and cleaner than the wakes I see on the INT comp boats, and they are loaded up. The 2007 Air Natique team edition has stock ballast, and they add sacs, including one big one, that takes up the whole bow. The Bu wakesetter is loaded, AND full wedge.

This is one of my favorites. I just got ashley this new board a week ago. Its a hyperlite syn. Its a great board, basically an ERA for girls. It edges SO much better than her LF Team she had, and she just loves showing off how she can edge on it, here, she is actually NEXT to the boat.

We boarded til I could barely see Whitney even with the lights on. It was a great day. On the way back, all of a sudden everyone starts whoopin and hollerin, and I look in my mirror and see what it is. The moon is rising in the tree line, and its FULL and clear, and white, and the most amazing moon I have ever seen, and there was a line of the reflection of the moon all the way to the boat on the glass. We had to stop and stare. I actually through a power turn at 35 to get right back to the spot. We tried to take a picture, but to get the light, you have to open the aperture, and keep the shutter open, and its really hard to hold the camera still. This is the closest we got, and it doesn't even come close to what we saw, but I think you can imagine. You could see all the craters in the moon CLEARLY. Hard to keep the camera still on a floating boat. We did the best we could.

Very nice. Anyone who complains they do not have a good wake on a 24V/Ve needs to have their head examined. The boat puts out the best wake out there. Every time I go on someone else's boat, I love mine more. The best thing is that I can go from steep and clean to rampy and clean with the push of a button. Other boats can adjust the wake, but they lose the cleanliness(?).

I still feel that I like some weight up front, but that is likely the difference between the V and Ve wake. They changed the prop angle a tad, and that is probably why I like a little more weight up front. The wake looks no better with weight up front, but it feels more better.:D

I hear you. Whenever I put more weight up front, I feel like it brings the bow down a bit, and doesn't allow me to TAPS UP as much. and I can always TAPS down to bring the bow down. And I usually have at least 2 kids up there, that is about 150-200 lbs give or take, so with that, I leave the weight off the front.

That moon is amazing! My wife and I were drivining last night around dusk and she pointed it out to me then, it was cool. I don't think we had as good of a veiw as you did. Great picture! :) :) :)

Yeah, thats him. The stitches are out, but its still pretty nasty. It was a big cut. I starts to come open when he boards too much. I give him props for even going out.

I would have loved to been there with you to see that moonlit lake. I love being on the water at night with some moonlight. :)

No, its our home lake of Lake Oroville. Very similar looking, also very large, but fortunately for us, not very well known because of lakes like Shasta, Berryessa, and Folsom.

Folsom has now been known as the 5 mph lake. :mad: No one is boarding on that lake now. :(
