Hey Timmy,
Is 9 News going to do the surfing spot? Bill told me it would be on today 9-12-2007. Do you have any info?

Supposed to be on a 6:40am on 9/13 now, either they had to reschedule or Bill had the date wrong - easy enough to do when you are as busy as he is!

Well Timmy you were on TV! Not a bad spot. The Channel 2 spot was better.

I missed it and the 9 News website doesn't have the video up just a short article.

That was lame in comparison to the Channel 2 one! It looks like they ran the wrong footage and then the footage that they did run wasn't that good. They took over 20 minutes of tape, you would think they would have shown Corey free riding instead of holding the rope in the stuff that they did. Hopefully they will put up a video to go along with the article:

That doubles clip was kinda cool. When we were filming it, Corey first tried to ride goofy on the dark side and I threw the rope in and he fell about 2 seconds later. Then the next time he rode normal on the dark side and had just started free riding and I carved really hard and fell out of the pocket at the same time. You win some, you lose some! It was still positive coverage for the sport!
I'm wondering if they will play it on the 10:00pm news, sometimes they do that depending on how busy the news day is.

What's with the "majority of wakesurfers are kids under 10 and seniors over 60"?
Now I really feel old!

A boat with an in-board motor must be used for Wake Surfing. The in-board motor, when traveling at speeds about 10mps, creates a wake about three feet tall. Once on top of the water, a wake surfer can ride the wave just like a surfer in the ocean.
How fast is this
