Nice looking ride, Ruune. Must be sweet to be that close to the water. Do you have anywhere to dock it to? :ro:

very nice truck,
where are you putting in at there?
- is that the river that runs thru austin?

Thats actually Medina Lake, near San Antonio... We've got 13 acres there.
The water is usually emerald green, and you can see about 8' deep, but its been kind of murky with all the rain. This is what the lake looks at capacity- it varies quite a bit, and I've always bought trucks with 4WD for that reason. Anyways, here's a pic on our current dock, which will be retired as soon as I can find the time to build a new one. This time, I'm going to do one with a slip on it. :)

Where did you get your tower anchor/nav light?

Ruune

The boat came with one... I've since stepped on it when the tower was collapsed and had to replace it. :o Your dealer should be able to get them- they were standard on the 2004 tower.

I have an 05 and it did not come with the light. i will ask my dealer.

looking at the '08 pics, it appears to be the same light. On previous boats, I've spent hours messing around with mast lights, only to have them vibrate loose. I'm surprised that you didnt get one on yours... is it a Tigé tower?

Sorry to go :ot: , but our dealer has an 07 24Ve with the tower not installed...it has no socket/light, and an 07 22i w/tower that has the typical light on it AND a socket/light in the gunwale

In 05 Tige went inhouse with the towers. My dealer ordered boats without towers and put metcraft and samson towers on them. After market towers most likely did not have them I have the socket light in the gunwale

Looks like the Metcraft towers that came on the 03-04 models.

The metcraft towers from 03-04 are wider at the top, and have different board racks. Also, they wobble a LOT more. This is the first in-house tower that Tigé made, for 2004.

Nice truck.
You're gonna love it.
The GMC has the styling nod over the Chevy in our book.
The new Gm truck interiors are excellent too.

I lived on lake medina for 8 years, Sunset drive, pretty close to the state park. The way that lake level fluctuated was crazy. Nice truck too, I am looking at either the same truck but in black, or a tundra. I really like the new tundra.

I have some friends over there- in the cove just outside the state park. We're on the east side of the lake, on the other side of the island... we've had the place since the mid-80s.
