humming/whining

I have a 2003 22V with the 350 mercruiser that has started to make a humming or whining sound at low rpm's when I first start it up. I have noticed that the alternator amp guage seems to be under 12 while it is making the noise. When the noise stops it goes up to over 13. My dealer looked at it and replaced a pully but it continues to make the noise. Has anyone else experienced this?

Sounds like your belt is loose. If mine gets some water on it, it'll make some noise but go away as it dries off. Seems like it's slipping on the alternator pully.
